Anxiety/Aggression

I am currently running 400mg enanthanate and 200 deca e3d, having alot of anxiety which is turning into agression, I realize this is dose related but the gains are killer and I am at the end of my cycle (about 3 weeks to go) also taking 20 mg nolva/day.

I was wondering if anybody knew of a good herb or something to calm me down until the test is out of my system?

St. John’s Wort may help.

Even better try and channel the agression. Obviously working out is good. View it as a hieghtned sense of awareness rahter then anxiety. It’s always been there, you are just noticing it more now. That calms me down.

I’ll give it a shot, thanks.

smoke a joint, except it may increase the anxiety if you are prone to it. either way it’s 5 bucks and you’ll know if it works in minutes.

sam-e might help too. Maca helps some too.

I’ve never had this problem with AAS, but Nolvadex whacks me out bigtime.

why does the nolva mess with you?

xanax will do the trick, but very addicitive. Short term use shouldnt be a problem.

It’s structurally similar to estrogen. It makes me feel weird, though it does the trick for the nutsac.

It’s not too bad. The trick with benzo’s is to skip days. You have to have the self-control to not take it everyday, and you can take it forever without becoming addicted.

Well, I have been on it for 6 months with no dose increase, and I can take a week off without noticing any withdrawl symptoms. It has been awesome for me. Even on the off days my anxiety has gotten much better.

My doctor prescribed me an SSRI that didn’t help at all, and had way more side effects. I quit that and “self-prescribed” the ativan. Man am I glad I did.

Slow down with that info bro, benzo’s are harder to kick than herion, you can detox off herion in a a couple of weeks, benzo’s can take months to even a year, you can also have seizures from going cold turkey from benzo’s.

Maybe your talking about a real low dose like .25 but from personal experience take 1 mg eod for a couple of months ??? YOUR FUCKED !!!

Well I chose to take ativan because of the slightly longer half-life, and I take 1mg at a time. I believe an equivalent dose of xanax would be half that. When I started it was per day, now it is every 3 days. When I have a serious need to take one before those 3 days, I take Inderal instead. I also went to counselling for a while, and that helped me stop all the small anxieties that would build up.

Ativan is also pretty potent, xanax 1/2 life is about 8 hours, im not sure about ativan ( ativan is also used for alcohol detox ) valium 1/2 life is about 24 hours, they actully use valium to ween you off xanax because of the longer 1/2 life.

I like to tell people that if I slammed a door on my penis four days in a row I’d be going to door slammers anonymous. So if you fall in that category in any sort of way I would stay away from xanax or those meds in general.

And if you drink, you find they are great for a hangover so guess what, you drink more and take a xanax or 2 in the morning in place of asprin.

But that doesn’t happen to everyone. [/quote]

If you drink that much that you need xanax to cure a hangover, you need to go to a meeting !!! Or just start drinking again .

Now why would I “just start drinking again”? Maybe I’m missing something.

And if you don’t drink, or never drank to where you had a vicious hangover, then you haven’t been in the position to know that in a half hour, a xanax can take that horrible feeling away. It wasn’t much of a choice for me and it sure as shit isn’t much of a choice for a lot of people. There are a lot of people that use xanax when they drink or to keep from drinking. I am of the latter.

And I would like to see the consensus that thinks valium is used for detox off xanax. That sounds like BS like
“cigarettes are more addictive than heroin”. I also think it is debatable that xanax is more addictive than heroin as you stated but I could be wrong.

This is a VERY medicated society we live in. MDs are giving away pain meds, benzos, SSRIs, you name it.
