Recipes for Sweet Cottage Cheese at Bedtime

I currently eat 1 cup of fat free cottage cheese, mixed with two Tblsp. Stevia, a generous sprinkling of cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds about 30 minutes before bedtime. I follow a mostltly low carb diet, with the exception of a modified post-workout glycemic backload.

I’d like to keep the carbs in the bedtime snack as low as possible, while still getting a little taste of sweetness. Or, if there’s a recipe using different ingredients with the same effect, I’d be interested in that also.

unless you are ties to the cin. for some reason. I like cottage cheese and peaches.

Cottage cheese, splenda, cinnamon , and canned pumpkin…Amazing.

Cottage cheese, splenda, and cacao powder…also amazing.

I eat this everyday.

Everyday I take a cup of cottage cheese, splenda and cinnamon, 1 scoop of Banana flavor Metabolic Drive powder, and about 1/4 -1/2 cup of crushed walnuts. Forget #s, that’s damn tasty!

I really like:
Cottage Cheese
Peanut Butter
1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
1 Banana cut up

I know you asked for a cottage cheese recipe, but this is awesome:

Greek Yogurt
Canned Pumpkin
Peanut Butter (I actually make my own “nut butter”)
Cinnamon
Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Scoop Super Food (optional)

Minus the banana, plus some eggs, this is generally my go-to.

If you decide to switch it up and do AM in the PM, try this recipe for cottage cheese pancakes.

2 whole eggs
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 Tablespoon Olive oil (I like light)
2 Tablespoons flour (or substitute wheat germ, almond flour etc. it all works)

Blend to a smooth consistency in a blender.

Eat them plain, or I like honey (home raised) and greek yogurt

If you like key lime pie

Cottage Cheese or Greek Yogurt to mix it up (I use the yogurt)
Lime Juice
Sweetener to taste
Almond slivers

Pretty awesome stuff
