I usually sweeten it with stevia and sometimes mix in some cocoa powder. What are some other things to do that make it taste better but that don’t add too many calories?
table spoon of peanut butter and a scoop of protein powder, yummmmm
I just use sea salt and fresh-ground black pepper.
Eating it with pineapple or tomato slices also tastes good.
I’ve been totally hooked on a scoop of BANANA Metabolic Drive, a bit of splenda, and a bit of cinnamon for several years now. Can’t imagine eating it plain anymore ![]()
Used to be a big fan of mixing in cashews. Great way to get your protein and fats before bed.
I’ve heard of people also mixing in sugar free jelly, but never tried it myself. No need to deviate from my favorites.

The calorie aspect is a tough one. Maybe just experiment with various herbs and seasonings until you find flavors you like?
Yellow curry powder and garlic.

These are good. I also like ketchup.
I put Tabasco on absolutely everything. A few drops will spice up your cottage cheese - and stimulate metabolism, if ever so slightly.
Adding various flavored protein powders is my go to move but i’ve also done the sugar-free instant jell-o pudding mixes and its actually not horrible, low on cals also.
Some good suggestions here.
Over the past few days I’ve tried these:
(1) Splenda, cinnamon, vanilla. Fantastic.
(2) Peanut butter and sugar-free choc syrup. Decent.
(3) Sugar-free strawberry jelly. Quite good.
(4) Canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, splenda. Very good.
I know most people love it before bed BUT I love it as breakfast.
I put some instant espresso in it and some organic cream ![]()
I ‘drink’ a pineapple protein shake (water, frozen pineapple and scoop of whey isolate protein powder) with it…
That’s what I do with Greek Yoghurt too…
Sugar free jam/jelly with some flax seed is great. Haven’t tried much else.
Cocoa powder and a tiny bit of honey.
Mixed some sugar-free french vanilla creamer in last night. Best-tasting thing I’ve done so far. The best, Jerry, the best.

Try this
I just have mine plain on Ryvita’s, but if I were to add anything I’ll put some Sea Salt and Black Pepper on! ![]()
I moved and cannot find Cabot cottage cheese, so I no longer eat cottage cheese. And I’m sad ;(
I could never do cottage cheese sweetened. I tired numerous times and ended up throwing out every concoction I made with two bites taken out of it. That being said, I don’t mind cottage cheese on it’s own and my favorite is to chop up cucumbers and add a little ranch to it. Not a ton, just enough to give you some flavor.
Always mix it with sesame butter.
(Peanut butter varieties are very rare and expensive in my country).
