Reality Check!

I track my lifting at gymjournal.com and print off my workout before hand. Then I carry it with me, either in mu pocket or on the floor. Carry a pen so you can make note on it and then record the workout when you get back.

Oh, and I have one of those clipboards already, but should I really be carrying it around the gym while training? I know I should keep track of my lifts, but I was thinking about just carrying a small notepad with me.[/quote]

I’ve used clipboards, I’ve used notebooks, and things like that. I’ve used printed sheets and I’ve used handwritten ones.

Now, I just use a notebook and write my exercises & numbers into it by hand.

BUT, I’m not stuffing this stuff into a gym bag; I work out at home now. You don’t want to get it scrunched up and crumpled up so you might want to take that into consideration.

I havent had much time to post recently, but I will try to post more often. Ive been hitting the gym almost regularly, but when I go 2 days in a row, I usually train one day; and run the other. And when I dont run, I go drowning…err I mean “swimming” ( I actually cant swim more than a couple of feet)lol.

I had my measurements on my notepad, but I left them at the gym two days ago, so I will get them again on the weekend. Ive been mostly following the Rippetoe Starting Strength program, but most days I feel like I need to do more, so I added some Dumbell curls and tricep extensions.

I havent been doing any ab work, but like I said Im fat; so should I just hold off on this until I lose some weight?

I dont think you really need to do any specific abb stuff right now just need to try and losse weight
