Realistic Goals For The Next 5 Months?

Hey guys,

I’m trying to set up some numbers to work towards the next 5 months and wondering what would be a realistic amount of strength to expect.

I’m not geneticallly blessed, but I will rather die trying to prove that I’m wrong than to give up. I don’t think I ever was commited enough to a program and diet as I am right now and I’ll continue going at it right now as my habits really fallen into place and I found a good balance with everything.

Current lifts:
5"9, Current Weight 180 pounds.

Front Squat: 200 x 8
Benchpress: 250 x 6
Deadlift: 315 x 8 (used to be higher by 40 pounds, but getting back to them right now)
Pull-Ups: 35 plate + BW for 6 reps
Chin-Ups: 45 plate + BW for 6 reps
Barbell Standing Military: 155 x 6
Barbell Rows: 200 x 8
DB Rows: 110s x 5
Deadstop Extensions: 100 x 6
Preacher Curls: 90 x 6
Dips: 115 + BW for 6 reps

Thanks for a piece of wisdom, this is probably the last post I make for the coming 5 months. Will not read anything else before I get a lot stronger on the main lifts. This information overflow have been having me by the balls way too long. Time to kick it in the nutsack!

By the way, I’m looking to add around 10-20 pounds of muscle during this time too.

If your bodybuilding, which i assume is your goal since you’re posting in the bodybuilding threads…

Words of Wisdom- Dont be concerned with what you lift, concern yourself with HOW you lift. Judges dont care about what you bench, but if you have the knowhow to angle out a pressdown to really nail your lateral head of a tricep, that’ll show when you step out on stage.

Thanks for the input Akuma and I’ll keep that in mind.

I’m so weak that concering myself with anything but getting stronger feels like a major wheel-spinning right now.
