Re-Top T- Movies

Just to add a coule to the list, how about ‘Goodfellas’ and my all time favorite Segal movie ‘The Glimmerman’.

A few more for the list…

  1. Unforgiven. Clint’s character in that movie is about as hard-assed as they come. Excellent.
  2. Last Man Standing. I know Bruce Willis is kind of a cheese, but for some reason I do periodically enjoy his performances in action films. This was one of them.

Just needed to add in a few extras! -

Flax

1 - Braveheart/Outlaw Josie Wales. Tie.
2 - Cool Hand Luke!
3 - The Alamo (John Wayne, as Davy Crockett), If not for the Duke, we may not have the Dallas Cowboy Cheer Leaders!
4 - The Green Berets
5 - Most any other John Wayne or Clint Eastwood
you can think of (except for Pink Cadillac)!
6 - Nevada Smith, Starring Steve Mcqueen, you just have to see it to believe it. He get’s thrown into prison just to kill a guy!
7 - Geronimo
8 - Very Bad Things!
9 - Rocky (take your pick, even though 5 sucked!).
10 - Rambo! Who else can overthrow a third world country by themselves?

Yeah, I can’t believe I forgot Scarface. And someone mentioned the Kevin Smith movies-while not technically a Testosterone-type movie you gotta love Clerks! I work retail, and I can’t tell you how many times I would love to pull a “Randal” on someone. The promo for that movie was great-Just because they serve you doesn’t mean they like you!

call me crazy guys, but when i think of t-movies i tend not to think of psychotic blood-fests. those movies do have their place and all. i just think the most testosteronish movies are the ones with ‘heart’ (god, i wish there was a better word for that!). like ‘rocky 1-4’ and ‘vision quest’. these are t-movies.

My two cents would be for “The Full Monty” and “Shawshank Redemption.”

They’re epitomes of men doing what men gotta do. What would T-man do if he was stuck in an economically depressed Birmingham, England, stealing scrap metal with his son to scrape together a living? Well, he would do whatever it takes, including showing the full monty, to make ends meet. Hell, he knows that he could do a lot better than those Chippendale pansies.

As for Shawshank prison with it's band of homo rapists and soul crushing corruption? T-man, would never let the conditions, that would "institutionalize" the average Joe in a couple of years, kill his spirit and love of freedom. He would find ways to fight back and expose the corruption for all the world to see. At the same time he would escape to a tropical paradise with a lifetime mandate to relax and restore a boat to go sailing into the sunset.
