I expected my log to have disappeared into the quagmire of page 2 by now… it was close, but you guys saved it for me. sniff
I’ve been averaging about 2 trips to the gym per week lately. Not great, but better than none. I’ve definitely lost some strength, but I seem to be holding steady now. Besides, once I can get back into a good routine, I’ll get it back.
I found a fabulous apartment!! It’s a little pricier than I wanted, but after seeing a steady stream of shitholes, I wasn’t gonna let this place slip away. The building’s only two years old, the apartment is nice and spacious with a washer and drier in-suite, there’s an “exercise room” downstairs (it’ll be good for random workouts and there’s a cable tv, so I’ll save $ on that. I’m cheap), and there’s an indoor salt water pool shared with two other buildings.
Financial stuff is still being finalized, and not a moment too soon - I’ve got to pay a $28 grand installment on my tuition in a week (yikes!); less than a month, and classes start. I can’t believe how fast this summer has flown by!
Giterdone - I’m sorry to have ignored your kindly-worded request. If you’re gonna ask to see my ass, at least that’s a nice way to do it.

Greeny - Yes, I will be attending classes full-time. There’s no option for part-time classes at this dental school so far as I know. From what I understand it’s a verrrrry heavy workload, so I’m preparing for the worst.
N - If my current date cancels on me, you will be my first call! You can wear whatever your heart desires, that hot ass of yours will look good in just about anything, I’m sure. Besides, you’ve got great fashion sense. Oh, and I have been finding time for fun - was in Niagara this weekend for a friend’s bachelorette, and did some shopping in Buffalo. Target is amazing, all you Americans are lucky!

Today’s training:
Kept it short, because it was close to closing time by the time I made it to the gym.
Did a really thorough warm-up, because my right hip was feeling a little achey, and had been popping intermittently all day when I walked. I’ve gotta get that checked out.
(1) Squat 3x5/3/1:
75% = 145 lbs x5
85% = 160 lbs x3
95% = 180 lbs x2
=> Fail on rep #3, which is what I was shooting for. This is the first time I’ve gotten seriously stuck about a quarter of the way out of the hole. It felt like I was stuck in the same position, pushing for all my might, for about 10 seconds. My chest stayed nice and tall, and everything felt good, that goddamned bar just wouldn’t budge!! Next time.
(2) DB RDL (one DB in each hand) 5x10: 25 lbs/35 lbs/3 sets at 45 lbs
And that was that!
Just finished a big bowl of pasta with meat and veggie sauce. Just in time for bed.

Bridesmaid dress for wedding #2 in September. Very cute, shorter than I expected the bride would go for, more money than I wanted to spend… but I’ll definitely wear it again!
