Squats look great! Do those zerchers kill your arms? I’ve never done 'em. What’s the benefit over regular front squats? Works difference muscles since the weight is held lower?

i’m incredibly too lazy to look at the videos right now, so when i do, i’ll comment.

i kept the clothes and the electronics, so it’s not like i gave away EVERYTHING, and i really dont mind having the other stuff around, as far as being reminded of him is concerned. i was just being a twat the night i did that, and i totally expected to get everything back later. oh well.

she knew about me the whole time we were together, i suspected on occasion but never REALLY knew about her. after finding out more about her, she’d put up with anything he did. literally. including living with me.

enough of the cbear drama. time to go watch rachelle ass in motion.

The zerchers were definitely tough on my arms! At the end of the 2nd vid you can see me reaching to rub my elbow. I used the pussy pad on the heavier sets, which helped. Also had a small cramp in one bicep after an earlier set, but luckily that didn’t repeat itself.

Benefits?

The tanks I wear I pick up at Garage Clothing or Stitches… I rarely buy ‘workout tops’, although I do have a few.

The pants I’m wearing in the above vids and in the ones I’m gonna post today are from Margarita fitness wear, made in Israel: http://www.sandiegofit.com/margarita-active-wear-clothes-fitness-apparel.htm They were WAY too much money, and I got them through a friend who had a connection.

I also have a few pairs from lululemon (also WAY overpriced), that I got on a rare clearance sale. I’ve also bought some from La Senza, and WalMart.

Brute - You are so strong, and talented, I have a hard time believing you’re afraid of the zerchers! Just try them out, you’ll be repping out 225 in no time. :stuck_out_tongue:

My gym got a new tire!! A bigger tire! Can you tell I’m excited about flipping a big, monster tire?!?
I tried out one flip prior to my workout. Almost got stuck halfway. You can hear my “ah, fuck” in the vid. But I got it!

Then, bench day!

(1) Bench Press 3x5
65% = 95 lbs x5
75% = 110 lbs x5
85% = 125 lbs x8

=> Rep #7 of my money set may not have been legit, because I felt the guy spotting me touch the bar and help me off my chest (although he swears he didn’t); I hissed at him through rep 8 not to fucking touch it, and got that one all by myself.

(2) 1-arm DB row (strict) 4x6: 65/65/65/60 lbs
=> Gonna aim to stick with the 65 through all 4 sets next week.

(3) 1-arm DB floor press 4x6: 50 lbs
=> Got a solid 6 reps on every set - an improvement on last week!

(4) Bent-over BB row 5x10: 100 lbs/105 lbs x4

(5a) Face Pulls 4x10: 5 plates
(5b) DB W press 4x10: 17.5 lbs

Then, I went back downstairs for more BIG TIRE flips (and some KB swings)!

Flips x2 (fail on 3)
[Flips x3 + 10 x 32kg KB swings] x2
Flips x4 + 10 x 32kg KB swings
Flips x6 + 10 x 32kg KB swings
rest as needed between sets

The tire flips got easier as I got the hang of them, and figured out the best spot to grip from.

My 1st time seeing myself bench. Didn’t realize how ridiculous my arch was. Is it too much?

Also, I think I want to start pausing more at the chest for these.

I can’t see your vid yet, but if you compete in powerlifting and can keep your shoulders/butt on the bench and feet flat on the floor, there’s no such thing as too ridiculous of an arch. PMPM has a great arch. Super cool how she gets herself into it as well.

Pausing on the chest is a very good training tool. Definitely makes it harder.

That tire flipping getup is just too cool. My husband wants to know if those guys in the background of the tire flip vid can come to our house and split some wood. (We heat with a woodburning fireplace.)

Your arch! Wow. I’ve been working on mine for a year now . . . can’t figure out why it doesn’t get more pronounced. I can easily do a backbend. Any other ideas from anyone on how to improve it?

Thanks kpsnap! I credit my arch to my poor posture as a child. I always had a really bad lumbar arch, with my butt and stomach pushed out. It just comes naturally.

I’m sure I can get a team of wood-splitters together for ya.
