Notes: Did this and left.

That’s intense lifting with the EMOMs and all those pullups.

How are you liking the EMOM work Jack? I think my body would say “no mas” relatively quickly if I tried them.

I like it Dave. I think the trick is getting the percentages dialed in and its pretty good for assistance work. I know I am still feeling the front squats.

1’s day, deads, TM 440.

Notes: That was enough for today; I’m fried.

Id be fried too.
nice pulling

Damn that’s lot of work. You just tore apart your CNS. Very, nice.

EMOM is a concept I just learned about here yesterday. It has me intrigued.

I think I am going to try your deadlift workout tomorrow with the same poundage, as it is right in my work set ballpark. I don’t think I’ll finish the EMOM part, but I’ll give it a shot! I have the extra time available tomorrow to take my time and try new things.

You have a great log and great progress over the years. Reading stuff like this really gets me excited to see what I can achieve in my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on years of lifting.

Also a big fan of EMOM workouts. I’ve done them a lot when traveling (10 pushups EMOM for as long as you can go is a great simple no-equipment upper body workout; the first 10 sets or so are really easy, but after 30 minutes of EMOM, man, 10 pushups start to feel pretty tough!), and I used to do some clean & press singles EMOM. Very impressive to see the EMOM deadlift and squatting work.

Good stuff, jack.

Wow, thanks for all the e-support people, I appreciate it! Yes, I’m liking the EMOM work, and I think its helping to make me stronger.

5’s day, Bench, TM 270.

Bench: 45 x20, 135 x5, 185 x5, 215 x5, 230 x 9.

Bench (EMOM): 185 X 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4 (40 total reps)

Cable Rows: 160 x 25, 20, 20, 15, 15, 10 (105 total reps)

DB Incline Bench: 90s x 10, 8, 4.

Pushups: 20 (very slow).

Stairs: 20 flights

Notes: Morning BW 203. My diet has been very inconsistent so I’m luck to be around 200 and gaining a little strength back, but tonight felt pretty good.

Nice job on the Pulls JK. I can’t imagine the EMOM’s after. I’d need a walker to leave.
May have to try those some day.

EMOM work seems to be catching like a virus in the over 35 group. I’m interested to watch your progress using them.

Thanks for stopping on folks!

Notes: Today was tough. And I think my glutes are not firing properly and my hammies are week. I am thinking about adding a specific glute/ham day into the rotation.

Deads: 45 x 10, 135 x10, 225 x5, 275 x5, 335 x5, 385 x5.

Smart ! training looks solid Jack.

Strong training for a tweaky back.

Updates:

I skied that last few days. I was going to train today but my truck got jacked in my driveway last night and they gutted my stereo and stole some other shit. I just had the damn thing installed/upgraded a month or so ago. I’ve been dealing with insurance and the Sheriff. It looks like they swept through my sleepy little neighborhood and hit some of my neighbors as well. Man do I hate thieves.

I also hate thieves. Unfortunately I have to deal with them all too often. Insurance companies can be almost as bad. At least you got your truck back and it wasn’t burned up.
