Rick: I like EMOM’s. A lot. I’m still playing with percentages for upper and lower because I think they need different percentages. Also, I really feel like I need to be careful on lower days with a tweaky back because the later sets tend to get sloppy. But I’m keeping them in the rotation for sure,
Notes: 70 degrees today and great weather. I free skied for conditioning and then chopped and stacked wood for about two hours. We had a few trees downed recently. Man, oh, man, I am wiped out. It’s been a while since I chopped and stacked wood, I need to do that more often.
I really enjoy reading the layout of your training sessions. Looks like a neat way to train and I’ll keep it in mind if/when I look to get out of competetive PL’ing. Appears to be best of both worlds…
Front Squats (EMOM): 225 x 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 (30 total reps)
Stairs: 20 flights.
Notes: I missed a few days. The boy is on spring break and we took a few days to go to Great Wolf Lodge. I thought it was expensive and overrated but the boy had a great time. So its all good.
