Raw Power

Congrats Seattle. You earned it.
Now let’s see; job is kicking ass, losing a bunch of weight, new dream car, and I quote “Seattle Fucking Seahawks” won the big one for your home town.
Dude it doesn’t get much better.
Now get your ass back in the gym.

I don’t think the Broncos even showed up for the game. Go Hawks! I’m glad they now have a Superbowl. Congrats!

GV, thanks! OMP, point well taken.

Notes: I’m on a big calorie deficit so I guess I’m ok with being weak as shit. I’ve been thinking about it and there’s a lot of things that I’d like to do with the boy in the coming months and years that I’m better served by being lighter. So I’m going to make a run at getting down to 190 or under and walking around at that weight and then maybe focus on getting stronger at a lighter weight. I am also 100% convinced my skiing will improve and my hands and joints won’t be so tore up if I’m sub 200 lbs.

Squats: 45 x10, 135 x5, 225 x5, 315 x5, 365 x1, 315 x5.

Stairs: 20 flights,

Notes: Squats felt heavy. At least the belt is feeling a bit looser.

There is another reason to be lighter…it will make the car go faster! Seriously, great reasons for a good goal…

Thanks for checking on me OG!

Notes: Did this. I might get one more workout in before this weekend. I’m going to a wedding in L.A. I suspect my tux is going to be a bit loose as I had a 39 waist when I measured for it. I should be sub 36 by this weekend.

Nice to see that kind of reduction.

Nice job on the weight Jack. My diet sucks right now, so I am kicking it into high gear. I still need to drop about 12 pounds in five weeks. You’ve inspired me to get it done.

Go Hawks!

Nice work on the diet Jack.

Thanks for checking on me fellas!

Aust. Pullups: 10, 10, 8.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: We had a great time in L.A. but I ate like a fucking pig. Now I’m back on track, but work is killing me. I’ll work in some maintenance training like today when I can.

I’ve been working 16 hour days, so training is taking a back seat. I should catch a breather in two weeks. The good news is, my diet has been very strict and I hit 204 this a.m. and I am starting to see some abs. I’d say 10 to 14 more pounds and I’ll be at fighting weight and ready to ski and start getting some strength back.

It’s a tough road you’re following, good luck.

Maintenance Squats: 45 x10, 135 x10, 225 x5, 275 x5, 335 x1, 365 x1.

Front Squats: 135 x5, 185 x5, 235 x1, 285 x1.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: Off to ruin a big plate of Sashimi.

Nice job on the diet JK. You’ll be really lean at 190ish. I seem to recall you saying you’re around 5’10.

Please don’t come down to scarecrow territory ( 170’s lbs) I don’t want people to know how weak I am! Great job dieting during those long days…Hopefully the S4 is treating you to some “twisted” fun.

I’ll admit it…actually watch it about once a year…

Enjoy the sashimi. Hmm, last night watched a Columbo rerun. It’s the one where the killer is a food critic. He knows of a fish which is a delicacy - after you remove the poison glands that can kill a man in 2 seconds flat. That’s how he kills the victim, by giving him the poison. Amazing the trivia you can learn on these shows.

Thanks for stopping by and checking on me, folks! I appreciate the support.

Notes: I’m still crushed at work, but I snuck out and did this to clear my head.

I cracked 204 this morning. I can smell 199.
