jjack,

Nice work on the weights (there are these things called elevators thought you should know), also congrats on the Seahawks, while you did not suit up for the game you deserve congratulations based on geographic specificity.[/quote]

I didn’t suit up, but I did get beat up just watching that blood bath. I almost puked three different times.

I thought the Niners were going to win. Such a great game.

Interesting perspective on Sherman: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1208083/1/index.htm

I rooted for the Niners (transplanted NYer and Giants fan) purely due to geographic obligation, but I will readily admit that I would speculate Carroll is a much, much nicer human than Harbaugh.

Thanks for the Link punnyguy. I agree with your assessment of the coaches.

Squats: 45 x10, 135 x5, 225 x5, 335 x5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Front Squats: 135 x5, 225 x3, 295 x1.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: Squats felt heavy. At least my piggy pants are getting looser.

Nice squatting. I think I’m going to have to throw some heavy front squats in my routine after seeing yours.

All I have to say is GO HAWKS!!!

Update:

No training since Wed. Thursday I flew into LA to buy an older Audi convertible; drove it to a bachelor party in S. Lake Tahoe; then drove it back to WA Sunday. I didn’t eat much on the trip and this morning I was down to 213.8 pounds. All-on-all a pretty good trip.

I have major car fever. I’m slowly leaning towards a C6 Vette. I’ve owned German and Asian for lot of years, except for Trucks.
Congrats on the car purchase and weight loss. Hope you get some sun to enjoy.

A C6 Vette would rock. Here’s a quick pic of the S4.

Oh yeah. S4 V8? Rare convertible. That is disco dude.

V8. It absolutely shredded the twisties between Reno and I-5 passed Mt. Shasta through Lassen National Park.

I won’t admit to driving at triple digits through here:

Beautiful ride.

Sweet car.

Go Hawks!

Nice ride. Wish I knew you were in LA, I would have met you for a beer as I was there for business last week.

Guaranteed to raise your testosterone levels 50%.

Still no training–I’m crushed with work–but my diet has been strict. I’m down to 209 pounds this morning. I’m up early to get some work done, then I’m going to try and break away to take the boy for his first-ever ski lesson this after noon.

Dave, I’m sorry I missed you!

I love S4s. This is my second. My first one was a 01/B5 Stage 2+ with similar numbers (upper 3’s for HP) to yours and its was a rocket. This one is a stock V8 (except for exhaust) and I can really feel the extra 1000 pounds the convertible brings, but the weight also makes it feel planted. It has plenty of get up for my needs and I really love having the drop top. Also, the V8 rumble makes me forget that its piggier than my old one and slower to 60.

The Seattle Fucking Seahawks. Booo-ya!
