Raw Power

345 x 11 is very cool, especially when you had 10 in your head.

Congrats on the RV’s. Your family will love it and NW camping is the best.
I picked up a similar craigslist deal a few years back on a boat.
I called within an hour and picked it up the next morning.
Made 20% profit when I sold it.

Also was on the selling side of a frenzy.
My daughter totaled her old, high mile MB C230. I didn’t have comp on it and repairs would have been much more than the car was worth, so I put it on craigslist with pics for a couple grand. Had people all over the state calling wanting to buy it sight unseen.

Way to go with the lifting and the purchases. Enjoy yourself now.

I have a question for you if you don’t mind. You have the 13mm inzer lever belt and I was wondering how long it took for it not to so uncomfortable or did you jsut get used to it.

You must be loving the new toys. I’m pumped for you and the family. Now you’ll have to start some outdoor workouts. Pullups from branches, carry rocks, etc.

You are carrying on Jack. Bet y’all will have some great fun with the camper.

Joe, I want to say it sucked for a few months, more so on deads than squats. Steve, we are pretty excited as well. We are going to take a trip to the ocean on labor day and I am going to bring the prowler and do some sprints on the beach as well. JW, thanks for stopping in. I appreciate it.

5’s day, Press, TM 170.

Press/Chins Superset:

Press: 45 x20, 95 x10, 115 x5, 125 x5, 145 x11.

Chins: 5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Fischer’s Finisher:

Press: 135 x 5, 5, 5.

WG Pullups: 3, 3, 3 (closer to 2 on the last one)

Dips: BW x 10, 10, 10.

Curls: 45 x20, 70 x10, 90 x5.

Pushup Plank: 1 min.

Notes: I was lucky just to get to the gym today, but I need to get in more consistently. Press is down some, dips are way down.

that mp is one of the most touchy lifts and dips, well, what you did looks pretty good to me…

Jack-nice volume and effort. Weights will come back soon enough…I likey the 145x11!

Good stuff, Jack. The weights will come back stronger than ever. In the meantime, enjoy the new purchase. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Thats great lifting man, that OHP is damn fine.

Tell me you’re not going to push the prowler through the sand on the beach. If so, I gotta see video of that to believe it.

Thanks gents, for stopping in. Snap, the only way I’d push a prowler on the beach is with a truck.

3’s day, deads, TM 440.

Deads: 45 x 10, 135 x 10, 225 x 5, 315 x3, 355 x3, 395 x 7.

Fischer’s Finisher: 355 x 5, 5, 5.

Notes: I was pressed for time today and have a golf outing tomorrow, so I skipped GMs and the Prowler. I went sans belt today and felt pretty good. I had probably one rep in the tank. I am really liking Fisher’s Finisher so far.

yeah, prowler on beach doesn’t sound like a good idea.

good work over here, looking strong

Good work Jack. On the Deads and Sqauts you also can do 3x3 @ 85% Seems to help as much (strength) and does not fry the CNS so much but still provides enough work to stimulate the response we are after.

Check out my last couple of entries in my log , I have been playing around with more volume and it conditions you as well.

Golf Swing Thought for the Day.

Flat left wrist through impact. (which by necessity means a bent right wrist). Won’t tell you why, just have to trust me on this.

Off to check out the bench link and then go flush my head in the toilet.

nononono - jack, you gotta do the prowler on the beach and get your wife to video it and post it! Be the man! Do it! It’ll be like those redneck videos that start of “Here hold my beer and watch this!”

Disclamer: I can say “redneck” 'cause i grew up in the Appalachian Mountains.

(but no matter what they say, my family tree was NOT and vine!)

Pete, I have a hard enough time pushing that damn thing on a smooth surface.

Rick, thanks for the 5-3-1 tips. I am really liking the 3x5. I may change up to 3x5 on fives day, and 3x3 on 3s day.

OMP, my swing and grip are not typical. I call it “unnatural golf.” I really palm the grip and have more of a baseball grip than a real golf grip. I’ll give it a shot, although my main swing thought will be to just not swing so hard I fall over, which is what I usually do after not playing for a while.

George, if you want a redneck video, I will consider hanging that sucker from a tree and shooting at it with a shotgun while sitting in a lawnchair, but I ain’t pushing it through the sand.

3’s day, bench, TM 270.

45 x30, 95 x 15, 135 x10, 185 x3, 215 x3, 245 x8.

Fischer’s Modified Finisher: 230 x3, 3, 3.

BB Rows: 135 x 10, 185 x 10, 205 x10, 225 x8, 245 x4, 185 x 10.

Incline Bench: 115 x10, 165 x5, 215 x 4, 3, 2.

Krock Rows: 110 x 30.

Notes: I felt pretty good today. I think my bench is moving a little using Fischer’s Finishers.

Side Notes: I had the guys at Foss Audio throw an amp, sub, and separates into the truck. I am in heaven.

Side-Side notes: Golf was fun, I don’t think anyone on my team had ever played before. It was that bad. I did hit a couple of big, long puts for par–in a scramble. Yikes.

When you buy yourself presents, you REALLY buy yourself presents.

I am absolutely LMFAO at this statement.

Beautiful dogs in the new avatar.
