WTH is a an Aussie pullup?

Good work on the Kroc rows!

Skinny![/quote]

Thanks Rick! An aussie pullup is just a body-weight row. I put the smith machine on the lowest setting to use like a pullup bar and put my feet on a bench so they are slightly above the bar, get in the upside-down plank position, and start rowing. I am really liking these.

Gotcha!! I program those into rehab or little workout days but only retract the shoulders --arms are left straight…way better than those face pulls and shoulder shit people do with 3 pound weights…

bweight 206—awesome!!

Skinny jeans here I come/11^^

1’s day, deads. TM 410.

Deads: 45 x10, 135 x5, 185 x5, 225 x5, 295 x6, 345 x3, 390 x8 (full reset).

Zercher Squats (from lowest pin in rack): 135 x1, 185 x1, 225 x1, 275 x1, 300 x1.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: Deads felt great tonight, 390 was flying up. Onward and upward.

Independence Day 1’s day, Bench, TM 235.

Bench: 45 x20, 95 x5, 135 x5, 175 x5, 200 x3, 225 x10.

Krock Rows: 125s x 25.

Incline Dumbbell Bench: 60s x5, 85s x5, 110s x3, 75s x15.

Australian Pullups: 20, 14, 12.

Notes: I got a quicky in today, no stairs. Now to commence blowing shit up. Happy 4th, everyone!

I like the idea of deads and Zerchers on the same day…

Matty, I like Zerchers or Gm’s as asst. work on deadlift day.

Notes: Water is heavy. I ate the like a pig on the 4th, had a huge 4th of July pancake breakfast, and ate loads of cards the rest of the day. Last night I weighted in at 216! I am pretty sure its mostly excess water weight from the carb load-up, but Jesus, that was depressing. We’ll see what I weigh in a few days after cutting out the carbs and getting back on track.

Wow, that’s a pretty good rebound from one day of feasting. It should vanish after a couple of days going low or ultra-low carb.

BW is back down to 209 this morning. Squats later.

1’s day, Squats, TM 360.

Squats: 45 x10, 135 x5, 185 x5, 235 x5, 295 x3, 340 x6.

Front Squats: 135 x3, 185 x3, 235 x1, 285 x1.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Impressive gluttony. From 206 to 216 in one day. One for the books.

Jack - just checking in and impressed by your come back all around.
You are getting closer to my bodyweight and damn son you have some strong trunks for legs.
Keep up the good work.

OMP, thanks for stopping in! Its good to see you posting.

1’s day, Press, TM 165.

Press: 45 x20, 65 x5, 85 x5, 105 x5, 125 x3, 155 x6.

WG Overhand Pullups: 8, 7, 6, 4, 4.

Dips: BW+25 x5, +50 x5, +75 x5, +100 x4.

BD OHP: 40s x5, 60s x5, 80s x fail. (I just can’t seem to get the 80s cleaned into place)

NG Chins: 6, 6, 6, 5.

Notes: Another cycle in the books. We are going camping in a week, so I haven’t decided what next. I’m skiing tomorrow in the a.m., we finally got some weather, and its been hard finding tow-boat drivers lately.

Fasted HIIT: I skied the course for the first time in over a year this morning and it was great. I ran a few passes, starts were easy, and I wasn’t winded so much after each pass. Last year when I was heavier it was horrible: just getting out of the whole was very difficult and I was exhausted by the time I got up, and I’d get so winded I felt like puking after each pass and I could only try a couple of passes because I was so spent. I am thinking its going to be even better if I can cut 10 more lbs., but I am very, very happy with the results of the cut so far.

Morning BW: 206.6.

Morning BW 205.4.

Good grief, man, you are literally melting away by the day. Nice work. 200 by the end of the week?

Yesterday: HIIT/Skiing. I’m sore today. Morning BW 206 after a huge meal last night. I may find out where I’m at in the gym a little later.
