Raw Power

Strong work Jack. You’re still hitting it hard while watching the diet. Something I just can’t do consistantly (the diet thing).

Jack you are killing it brother! Awesome work being done here!

Picts?

Steve, thanks for stopping in! Collin, no pics–at least not yet.

1’s day. deads, TM 400.

BBB Deads: 275 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10 (touch and go).

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: Today was a pretty good day, considering I pulled and all nighter on an emergency project.

Morning BW 212.8.

Morning BW 212.5.

Bench: 45 x20, 95 x5, 135 x5, 160 x5, 185 x3, 215 x10.

Krock Rows: 110 x25.

Pec Dec: Some x 20, 20, 20.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: Onward and upward.

Morning BW 211.6. Squats later.

Damn Jack. You are really leaning out! Great job. Bet it feels great.

Thanks, LS, I do feel a lot more mobil and I’m not out of breath walking to the mail box, so I got that going for me.

1’s day, Squats, TM 350.

Squats: 45 x10, 135 x5, 185 x5, 225 x5, 290 x3, 335 x6.

Front Squats: 135 x3, 185 x3, 225 x3, 250 x3.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: I went back to genie style for front squats, but I’m carrying the bar a little lower so I can breathe better now. The weight loss has really slowed, but I can fit easily into 36’s right now so that’s ok. I’d like to get within striking distance of the 198 class by the middle of summer.

211 lbs. Fading away right before my online eyes. 36 waist?? I haven’t seen that for 20 years. You’re going to be the stud at the beach this year.

Steve, thanks for stopping by!

Morning BW 210.8. Now off to a pancake refeed.

Good work in here. Are you prejudiced against waffles?

Kimba, no prejudice, its all about the portion size. They just don’t seem to serve waffles in the amounts I am looking for during a refeed. If I could find an “all you can eat” waffle bar, I’d be golden.

1’s day, Press, TM 160.

Stairs: 20 reps.

Notes: I felt good today, start a new cycle with deads tomorrow.

Morning BW 210.0

Weight falling while your lifts are going up is pretty much teh sweet spot. Nice work.

Thanks for stopping in, Joe!

5’s day, deads, TM 410.

Hey, how about that, below the 210 mark. Congrats!!

Thanks! I’m pretty stoked about the milestone, these last few pounds have been a grind.

Kick Ass Jack!!!

Are you trying to get down to the 190’s ?

FYI: Whenever you level off stay at that bodyweight for a couple of months to create a new “setpoint” so when you have a binge or get sloppy you don’t just shoot up 10 pounds–make sense?

Rick, I am thinking about hitting 195 and holding. My previous goal was 205, but I am close enough to the 198’s that this weight makes sense. I am much, much leaner than I was but still holding onto some fat, so I think 195 is reasonable and won’t cost me much strength. I’d like to think I could hit a 400/300/500 at that weight, and I’m starting to dig having some added mobility and not getting winded walking to the mail box.
