Nuke Sub with view of Mt. Baker:

A boy, his grammie, and a Bike:

cool pic! and 405x7 ain’t shabby

This park used to be a military installation that guarded the puget sound from maritime enemies. The big guns used to be located here.

Can’t wait to see what you do this year.

I’m glad you had a good time! Your boy looks stylin’ on his new ride.

So, what is your plan to cut weight?

jjack,

saw the 355x10 on squats a wee,k or so ago, got a cramp in my hammies and threw up twice, that seems really hard to do.

Carl, Brian, thanks for stopping in. Kimba, your question implies that I have a plan. Damn you.

I know how to cut weight, but I am not sure I know how to do it without losing strength or without turning into a Lithgow-with-bug-up-his-butt guy. And I am really, really, really not looking forward to cutting.

You could eat the same but jsut do more work…

Nice pullin JJ

Point well taken, DCA, point well taken. SteelyD, thanks for stopping in.

3’s day, Bench, TM 275.

Bench: 45 x30, 95 x15, 135 x10, 185 x3, 225 x3, 250 x8, 205 x13.

Wide BB Rows: 135 x10, 145 x10, 155 x10, 165 x10, 175 x10.

Incline DB Bench: 60 x10, 70 x10, 80 x10, 90 x4.

Krock Rows: 100 x20, 20.

Notes: Things went about as planned tonight. I am going to keep the push volume where it is and start gradually increasing the pull volume and intensity. Also, I broke down and bought some protein and a creatine/waxy maze mix. I need to reduce my calories as well as increase my work, so I figure some supps. might give me a psychological edge.

the supps may help switch away from the junk carbs but you can still get plenty of calories with them.

Nice rows - I need to try out the wide grip since I’ve been using a bench grip so far.

I recommend fork-putdowns and table push-aways. There is no way to out-train a bad diet when cutting.

Nice volume Jack- good work.

Kimba might have the inside track on leaness

Thanks, people. Obviously, Kimba knows her shit when it comes to lean.

3’s day, Squats, TM 415. Weight this morning: 247.

Squats: 45 x10, 135 x10, 215 x5, 315 x3, 345 x3, 375 x8.

Front squats: 185 x10, 10, 8.

Stairs: 10 flights, sprint up, walk (read crawl) down.

Notes: Squats were done with no belt, but not by choice. I couldn’t get the lever buckled and I’m out of holes to make it bigger. But you won’t here me crying about it anymore. Fat loss is now my #1 priority.

I can barely stuff into 38’s right now and I weighed in at 247 this morning. I figure I need to get into a size 36 jean and be around 220 to get back in the water without buying a new stick and all new gear. So that is my short term goal, and I’d like to hit those numbers by March 15.

It’s on like Donkey Kong.

Good work JJ. Damn pants always putting the kibosh on unlimited eats!

Yeah baby! Good measurable goals. The stairs are an excellent start.

Jack-
Excellent work in here, as always! best of luck with weight cut…I used to love Donkey Kong!

Good work in here. Please excuse my ignorance, but how does the ski racing work?

JJack I did the V-Diet lost 22 pounds of straight fat. Went form 244 to 222, all my lifts stayed the same, went down 4 belt holes on weight lifting belt and jeans belt. Went from 38’s to 36’s again in jeans. I will say it SUCKS BALLS but if you are a stubborn old man like me you could do it.
