Mercury, I forget what weight class you lift in…? 181’s was it?
Nice work anyways man.

why such a low dead?
I think maybe its a technique thing.
I think I can pull more but the bar I have at home starts to bend after 160kg so I’m a bit wary about bending it until I get my olympic bar and weights through (pretty soon)
Its something I have never really trained until now either, coming from a rugby back ground I always just assumed my legs and such were strong so didn’t put much effort into training them. Oh how wrong was I! Its a weak point and I will be blasting it over the summer to get my numbers up.

Yah 181’s raw. Thanks!
Nice work LM.
I’m 20 years old, been training for 1.5 years. Compete 198s, about 5’8
Best meet numbers
Squat 363 (w/o wraps), 410 (w/ wraps)
Bench 255
Deadlift 440
Have a meet coming up this saturday (w/o wraps). Looking to hit PR’s on all 3 lifts.
I’m in here as well.
6’5, 280 or so. I don’t cut weights to lift so I either lift as a 275 or 308 depending on how many Oreos I’ve eaten the week of the meet.
Been training for a bit over 3 years. 29 years old.
Best competition lifts so far were back in October (no knee sleeves or wrist wraps):
-Squat: 551
-Bench: 374
-Deadlift: 563
-Total: 1488
Best gym lifs:
-Squat: 550
-Bench: 405 (no pause) 380 (with pause)
-Deadlift: 600
Got a meet next weekend. Goals are:
-Squat: 560
-Bench: 400
-Deadlift: 600
Best of luck with the meet VT!

Best lifts are 465/270/500. All gym. I’m currently searching for a meet to train for to make them official. Bench is down right now (250ish? lol pretty crappy), but I’ve been feeling pretty good and expect to match/surpass my best bench pretty soon.

Wanted to start a thread for raw, drug free lifters who find pleasure in making heavy weight their BITCH. I will compete for the first time in 2012 on July 8th, looking to beat all my previous PRs (625sq, 290b, 630dl @198). Im down to 179 and feel great, lets get this party started!!!
Sick squat. If you can sink it to proper depth that would be a USAPL and 100% RAW American record at both 198 and 181, indeed anything over 6 would set it. I hope the meet goes well
thank you sir! welcome…TO THE DARK SIDE (Que imperial march)
