Okay, I’m not going to lie… I was on my own today, I was tired and I took a little something. I’m sorry to say but yes, I used N.O. Xplode. My old boss from the supplement store I used to work at gave me a sample packet to use. I’m so ashamed but honestly, I was wired so that’s all I really wanted. I will not use it again. 
I almost managed 10 sets of 10 today, I was so close! On the 8 rep set, I just went too far down and barely got back up. On the last set, on rep 9 everything started getting dark so I just said “fuck it” and racked the bar. I feel good though, my legs are still blown up to hell. Finding shorts is harder than finding pants. I guess I gotta check out one of the “big legs & pants” threads now.
Tomorrow I’m starting a new back program based mostly on various forms of pullups and chinups. It’s a bitch lifting yourself when you’re 250lbs with long as shit arms but I’ll work into it. I like my back as it is, but I would like it more if it were bigger. Plus, if I were able to knock out 20 chins that would be pretty bad ass. So, for the next 6 weeks my Wednesdays are going to be me going airborne. I’d say ‘hua’ but that’s for Marines only. Plus, I’m Canadian. Damnit!

So I was having a great work out until I got to the smith shrugs. Pink shirt earlier on decided to leave the bar he was using and the four plates that were on it, just lying on the floor. Seriously, this guy NEVER puts his stuff away and I was tired and I did NOT want to move his shit. I actually bitched towards the owner of the gym, telling him that dude never puts his stuff away and it pisses me off that every time I wanna use something I gotta clean up somebody else’s mess. So dude gets pissed and puts his shit away, but loads 4 more plates on the smith rack that I was using… All on one side.
I stood there, just staring at the guy with a ‘wtf’ look on my face until he realized it. He proceeded to tell me he made a mistake when he put them up there and didn’t realize he was actually loading up my weights. I called bullshit and told him his lies might work on other people (the 15 year olds he hits on) but not me. Eventually dude got pissed off cuz everybody was giving him shit and just left.
I’m not one to bitch at management usually but seriously, I doubt any of you actually like picking up after other people… Especially when it’s heavy ass weights and you’re already pretty tired. I just hope he doesn’t fuckin give me hell about it cuz I really don’t feel like having drama at my gym. I just like doing my thing, looking at a few nice asses and going home. /rant
I enjoyed my clean & jerks today though, very smooth.

Thanks for the idea Vader! I enjoyed the sumo deadlifts today. I wish we were on carpet though, on my last 405 my legs had spread out during the lift and when I put the weight down it went on the very edges of my shoes. One centimeter (a small fraction of an inch for you yanks) more in each direction and I would have been in some serious pain.
On a more comical note, when doing the leg press, two guys I see around a lot started laughing when I only had 5 plates on and did my first three reps with zero effort. So mid-set they decided to add another plate on each side… Thanks guys. Appreciate it…

Some green plastic/ rubber surface. It’s not very great, but what do you expect from a family gym?
Also, those sumos are BRUUUTAL. My hammies right now are in serious pain, so is my back. However, if all goes well tonight I get a massage.
Gonna go to the gym in a few minutes, go up north for the night, come back tomorrow and eat tons of sushi (hopefully).
