How long have you got to go now dude? The MH cover model comp has always been something I’ve been interested in. I just never have the willpower to get to the level of leanness they expect.
Regarding Biotest supps, have you tried ordering from Biotest UK? As long as you order more than single units it works out pretty reasonable.

aye you see that’s what puts me off ordering from here. There’s a few products I’d really like to try (superfood, Z-12 and Flameout) but you just get hosed so badly on shipping and tax.
That’s no disrespect to Biotest by the way, it’s not like they can do anything about it.
Yeah I’m in Glasgow now but I’m a teuchter born and bred. That’s REAL Scotland. Not like you central belters. Half English you lot.
If you can wait until August I have a friend coming over from LA who is gonna take stuff over for me and I could post it to you?
lulz, my family hails from Thurso and my surname is Mclachlan…pure scotch beef, so much so I considered sendin the mens health pics wearing my kilt/tartan and going to the finals day likewise
thanks for the offer man but it’s cool. Imagine how sad I’d be when it ran out and I couldn’t get more!
McLachlan is good teuchter stock, and Thurso’s actually further North than I’m from so I’ll let you off this once.

I have no definite on how long I have left, which is a total mind fuck. Only being able to send pictures and a story in itself is a mindfuck, would feel cheated if I can’t get the opportunity to show them what I have in person. BUT it will happen and I will be in the top 15, gotta be positive ha
I signed up to their notification to be emailed when the competition is just about to open for submissions.
Saying that, I read that submissions for previous years were roughly about the 20th June and the finalist day was like the 9th of July or something.
So short answer is probably up to 6-7 weeks for the photo submissions and longer for the finals day.
Feeling nice and depleted today, but motivated as always.
Exams start tomorrow so I’ve been studying more hours than sleeping, lifting is an awesome study break.
AM workout was Delts/Chest/Abs Pump Day:
Dumbbell Lateral Raises/Front Raises/ Clean And Press: 15 reps of each back to back, used 2.5k and did 3 sets
SUPERSET
Hanging Knee Raises to failure, 3 sets
Stretch Push ups - Failure x 3 sets
SUPERSET
Hanging Knee Raises to failure, 3 sets
Taking a rest day tonight and having my refeed now instead of Sunday because my last exam is a week today so I would like to go out for dinner with my gf that night, training legs tomorrow morning to take advantage of the refeed. And I had my first exam today so in all honesty I want to relax and recharge mentally and physically.
Still did fasted cardio this morning (40 mins walk to and from university) and still getting tighter as the days go on (have veins running through the top of my abs consistently now).
Eating 20g carbs during my PM workouts from grapes, its allowing me to gauge how much carbs I’m gonna need to look full on the photoshoot day as well as provide workout nutrition.
Snae much to say apart from that, will try and update again in the next couple of days but will most likely be Monday after my 2nd exam.

Lookin’ super lean in your avi Rattle. Good work man. Any idea when this contest will get underway?
Thanks man.
Still no word as of yet, I assume for a competition of this type it will be a 3-4 week application window meaning that it should hopefully open in the next couple of weeks.
The finals day wont be until July as far as I know!

is this still how your diet is laid out?
Yes sir, the only things that have changed is cutting the intraworkout down to 20g and having that serving again for the AM session and I am getting 20g carbs during my PM workout with grapes.
I am allowed 40g of carbs with the diet, was having it all as vegetable sources but wanted to try to see what happens with introducing carbs right in the workout window at this point of the prep, i cut back veg intake over the meals tho to make up for it and also take one teaspoon of peanut butter out of my meals.
Tuna is springwater tins normally taken with some balsamic vinegar and my chicken is steamed. I’ve been enjoying snacking on sliced jalpenos the past 2 weeks also, can easily eat a jar a night but I just can’t afford it haha
You mean its just too boring for your tastes? I just got fixated with steamed chicken breasts, years ago when I read the majority of Hugh Jackman’s wolverine diet was steamed chicken I became obsessed.
Being 17 years old and becoming obsessed with steamed chicken has probably served me well.
Quick update during a wee study break (cause hey where better to procrastinate than in the gym taking pics and then t nation?)
Took some pics unpumped upon waking up this morning, I think i’m gonna go with the right hand side rather than the left for my side shots, I just seem to be able to pose more comfortably that way and look slightly better, thoughts?
Weighed 160.9lbs today after the refeed last night, good sign cause I have never been lighter than than 161.8lbs after a refeed!

Sex sells haha but yeah it probably would be a good idea to practice the facial expressions you plan to make each time you take progress pictures. Obviously you know this already, but that’ll be just as important as your physique. And you’re definitely nailing the physique part, just gotta have that swagger! Keep grinding Rattle, one day at a time
was able to get someone to take a pic of me for a change so you can see what i’m looking like with less favourable lighting and angles
