Personally I’d watch the diet. Take a good look at your before and after pics, you gained muscle yes but a lot of fat to hide the gains as well so in the end you’re gonna look bigger but not better, just fatter.
If you’re aiming to look good then I think definition is crucial.
I started out just an year and half ago and only got like 18pounds bigger(mostly lean mass) so maybe I’m not the right person to give you advice but I think you’re trying to get results too fast by eating too much and not burning enough when you workout.
I know I didn’t get a shitload of muscle but I think it’s better to gain lean muscle slowly than to get muscle and lots of fat in a short period of time.
And the chicks don’t dig guys with fat bellies, it’s a fact! off course there are guys with some abdominal fat but they got huge pecs, arms, etc…
I think it’s too early for this guy to eat so much and his diet is probably BAD.
i can be 155 and be ready for a bodybuilding contest
like how did i not gain a shit load of muscle? 16% bf is 28 pounds of fat right
so
175-10=165
meaning at 165 i have 11 percent bodyfat
11% makes me look very very lean. ive been to that point last year when i went on this lil anorexic thing and
starting out i had 12 right
so 35 pounds later, i will have less bodyfat than i started with
so i gained over 35 pounds of lean body mass apparently(unless some weight is water weight) and 10 pounds of fat
so how is this a bulk fail? obviously people at this site dont know what bulking is
Don’t worry about your bodyfat bud, if anything, eat a little less junk food, and maybe do a little cardio. As anyone who has built an appreciable amount of muscle knows, you have to put a little fat on when building muscle. And you’re young and naturally skinny. It’ll come off easy anyway.

It isn’t a bulking fail. And you might want to change the tone or else people will think of you as a retard, and people here don’t easily change their opinion as to what I’ve seen.

bulk fail.
In what way? He gained muscle, disregarding fat gain.
Isn’t that pretty much what the big guys here like to promote all the time?
not really. most guys here (at least me) will advocate to staying withen the confines of 15% while bulking. it doesnt really look like he gained a ton of muscle and i doubt thats where most of his gains came from.
he wants to post up a clean diet like its some boggle as to why hes gotten the way he has meanwhile theres empty McDonalds reminents in his room. i personally will consume fast food or anything for that matter but i have a fast metabolism and can do so.
i think if he cleaned up and dropped 5-8 pounds he would look better and could still stay withen a caloric excess frame for gaining. because its quite obvious he’s spilling and its better to nip the problem now then to keep on this route and end up like that epic bulk fail guy, you know the one.

buddy youre not 16% or in any shape to compete if you did a cut. if you post pics here youre going to get criticized. buck up and take the advice. post again in 6 months or something.

LOL at attempting to figure out someone’s bodyfat percentage via pictures. You’ve got to be kidding me.
Someone pay for the OP to get some hydrostatic testing done so we can all see whats up.
You know with the amount of people on this site that preach “EAT EVERYTHING” and forget about your abs and all that bs, it seems like when somebody takes that advice they get shot down for it.
This is not a bulk fail.
I’ve seen the bulk fail pic. The dude got fat without any noticeable muscle. This guy has muscle.
and one more thing, this is called rate my PHYSIQUE, not rate the amount of mass ive gained or the amount of mass ive lost. its about how you look. and whether or not youve gotten stronger is just irrelevant when you look like that.

The rating and the advice given don’t have to go hand in hand. Obviously this guy knows he’s not going to get an 8 looking like that.
Why he posted is another story I guess. But to tell him not to continue to gain mass is silly.
im not saying he shouldnt gain mass but his problem is that the mass he’s gaining is consisting of a lot of fat and not a lot of muscle. if he tweaked his diet and stopped eating garbage he could gain muscle at the same rate he has been but without all the gratuatous amounts of fat. theres no law that says you need to gain 5 pounds of fat for every pound of muscle.
keep in mind im not saying you can stay ripped and gain either.
