You tell 'em, N3wb.

While it is possible that someone with his build could pull those numbers, I still doubt their validity. I would say typical internet “add 150 pounds to the lift” type statement.

haha love some of these responses about the hair. But yeah buddy, youve got a nice lat spread for a natural.

Im starting to beleive there is no ink. Just his excuse to not show his pale, flabby and hairy front that he will say benches 350.

Seconded. And why would you even get something so offensive, and then be afraid to show it.

I give 3-1 odds of it being gyno vs. a swastika.

Yep.

You cant fool other weightlifters. Hell, well I first started I told everyone I could deadlift 350 at 130 pounds.

I haven’t lifted continuously for all of my life. Why do you make such assumptions? I have had injuries and life changes like anyone else that stops people from training.

Also, you have more than 50 pounds on me, so so what if you have 40 pounds more on your deadlift than I do with your straps? You’re supposed to be able to lift more than I do, hence the reason for weight classes in strength sports like powerlifting.

So how much do you think I can deadlift, genius?

Do you actually train your bench press?

You people, you know, the ones who post their pictures JUST so others can rate them and point out every detail…you guys sure are touchy when people actually CRITIQUE you.

Just admit it. You didn’t want a critique. You wanted a few hundred teenaged boys to write in comments like “G RU on Roidz?” and, “U R Heeeyyoooge!”.

How is that working out for you?

So let’s hear your brilliant guess at how much I can deadlift?

I wanted a critique or advice and half of what I got was dumb jokes because I didn’t shave my back.

if those are truly your deadlift numbers then you need to add some more volume to your program. Is your high dumbell rowing as much as you can db bench press? you obviously care about mass and shape so you need to train for those goals. to adding some isometric holds at the top of the deadlift with submaximal loads as well as with the dumbell rows. How much extra weight can you add on you and still perform strict chinups and pullups? laters pk

Have you considered…and I know this may be way out there…but have you considered you got jokes because you really aren’t developed very much at all?

It isn’t like we are looking at someone that has put several years in and is now showing off the results of that much hard work. There are people who don’t lift weights with backs bigger than your’s. So why get upset when people inform you of this or joke about it? You were surprised that you didn’t impress too many people?

Advice: Put in a few more years and this time, actually train hard and consistently without long lay offs. Train everything and not just your lats. Your shoulders and pretty much everything else visible in that photo look like not only have they been undertrained, but it is doubtful that you have EVER trained those body parts.

That was some good advice right there. If you take it as a straight insult, your mirrors must be fucked up.

What exactly is a high dumbell row? I know what a dumbell row is, but not a high one.

They also have age groups. Might want to look into that.

I asumed I was stronger by your deadlift. I noticed you mentioned you deadlifted almsot 200lbs more than him but you didnt mention benching alot more than him so I just guessed. Plus a high deadlift usualy dosent make the best squater or bencher.

If you say you have lifted for 10 years a person might assume that you have lifted for 10 years.

pull to the outer deltoid and your torso is parallel to the ground using the same grip as when you bench. regular rows you pull lower and the torso is at an angle. hope that helps, laters pk

Usually when I do dumbell rows I use a grip that is perpendicular to my bench press grip and pull it up as high as I can. I can row more in this manner than I can do with a db bench press.

I would say that I have been lifting straight for about 4 or 5 years. However, I have a nagging injury in my left knee that doesn’t allow me to squat heavy anymore and sometimes I have to take months off from squatting in general.

That’s sort of ambiguous advice, but thanks anyway. If anyone knows of a good way to bulk up without getting too fat, this is what I really need.

And by the way, how much do you think that I can military press by looking at my shoulder (just curious.)
