You should give some serious thought to your priorities/goals. If ‘doing the lifts’ is your priority, then it sounds like performance is #1. Since you’re posting in the Rate My Picture section, you also care about how you look, so aesthetics wouldn’t be far behind.

My advice for achieving both goals would be to eat more. You can gain muscle much faster than you have been, and you likely won’t add much fat while you’re at it. I don’t want to nit pick much, but at this point I disagree with Quick Ben on the snack point. I don’t think you should be doing anything to limit your calories at this stage. In my early development, I responded well to high carbs, and even a moderate to high amount of sugar. I don’t think you should get in the mentality of limiting your diet. More will be better for quite awhile.[/quote]

Yeah! Aesthetic and strong would be my goal. I try to eat as much quality food as I can also. I try to limit the junk though…
Haha! yeah quick ben asked me to eat more protein when I snack :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for all your inputs!
Just wanted to know if I’m progressing properly

I would say you are on the right path bud, nice work, keep it up.

Thanks mate! good to know.

Maybe you didn’t understand what Doublehung said or maybe you just need to read the whole statement, but you came across as a smartass because once you reach your genetic potential it will be hard to add to your lifts. Like others have stated right now you should be gaining like crazy if you work hard.

Wait until you’re at the top of your genetic potential and try to squeak out 10 lbs on your max a year.

10lbs a year? wow! That’s going to be challenging

It is challenging for me…

Overall you are headed in the right direction, but don’t be a dick and listen to those who have been in the game awhile.
