That’s the funnyman. Flexing arms or chest after every exercise, even if it is not a arm or chest exercise. :o

I seen a couple guys at the gym doing this with…upright rows. Can you imagine?

did anyone else hear the spotter say “it’s all you”?

That’s gotta be my favorite phrase. “it’s all you, it’s all you.” Yeah, really? Then why the hell did you have to to help him so much?

Is it just me, or does it always look extremely gay regardless of where the spot comes from?

If I was getting a spot from the front, I’d definitely prefer a woman in that position. Just my .02

Those videos are really funny. The sad thing is squats like that count as a high school record, and they have the entire team there acting like the shit is for real. There are however some legitimate high school squat records, the heaviest I remember was 605 to powerlifting legal depth with belt and wraps.
I know all about this. Our school record is a bullshit 500 pounds. You know its not legit when the guy has difficulty just walking the thing out, wobbling all over the fucking place.

Hilarious. and gay. at least he gets decent range of motion on his squats though.

they have some bad-ass belts on tho.

Wow.

This HAS to be a joke.

Notice that these guys with the huge inflated squat numbers never seem to have videos of themselves deadlifting.

If they did, it would be a video of a rack pull.
it would be a shrug, on a smith machine, with a 1/10th inch ROM.

there’s a guy at my gym that “lifts” like this guy. I call him Mr. Wiggles. He will load up the squat rack or bench without any warmup, unrack it and move it no more than an inch or two. That is no exaggeration either. He will do barbell curls and actually do what looks like a bridge to get the bar up as well. I can’t believe this guy hasn’t killed himself yet.

we;ve got a guy with 16" lean arms, a bodybuilding.com t-shirt that has both the sides ripped out, and thighs the size of his forearms. I named him atrophy man. Guy curls and benches frequently, but not much else.

What’s wrong exactly with 16" arms?

nothing, Mine are a wee bit larger then that. But there is something with arms bigger then yo thighs.

Thankfully there are powerlifting and weightlifting teams in some schools to remind those kids just how overinflated their lifts are. Those lifts would never be accepted at a meet.

I’ve seen that too. No exercise seems capable of escaping the lazy man’s version.
