Also day 3 in the books for me… Not bad at all… did a savage workout with my girl today which definitely kicked my ass lol. Damn you low cals!!!
I havent tried the pancakes yet cause I’m doing the diet as a cat 1… I’ll hit em up with the oats after I’m all done. Good luck with the diet bro… you doing cat 2?

day 4 in the books and most of my cravings are gone at this point. Wanted to try a little Tabata style workout today for fun and just tried pushups… it was so damn hard! I only did 5 of the 8 “sets” cause I couldnt really do many pushups at that point. I would have been getting 10 or less so I stopped.
Gonna lift tomorrow but I could definitely see more ab definition today. almost halfway done!

seems like you’re doing a lot more exercise than Lyle suggests, no?
ummmm i wouldn’t say a whole lot more. I mean I “worked out” twice this week and then on another day I did some pushups… I dont really count the pushups as a workout even though it was really hard.

I got you. I’ve been lifting 2x week and playing Racquetball 2/3x week too. Do you think this diet can cause joint pain? I’ve hurt my ankle, knee and today my hip all playing rball. Or do I just have week joints? I take plenty of fish oils.

I dont know man? Being on such low cals your body probably doesnt recover as quickly so that would make you more susceptible to injuries I would assume? I definitely wouldnt say this diet causes joint pain though.

What was your carb up? I had
1 Medium chicken and jalapeño Domino’s pie
1 large Wendy’s Vanilla Oreo Blizzard
1 Bag Watermellon sour patch
1 Bowl Honey Nut Cheerios
1 Bowl Cinnamon Toast Crunch
1 Bowl Captain Crunch
I really stuffed myself bad, however my lbm is ~200 I don’t think I really went overboard,
Courage Wolf lost 13 lbs in 11 days in Cat 1 of the RFL. He swears by it.
well I think i’m stopping the RFL today. today was/is day 8 so I think i’m not gonna go the full 11 like last time. Just some other issues coming up along with tomorrow being my birthday. I’ll hit the scale this afternoon at the gym and see what im at. Good work Advanced TS… did you take any pics?

Yes.
Everything I lost stayed off. My waist measurement is identical today to where it was when I got off the diet and I weight only 2 more pounds. My bf dropped about 3.5-4%.
How is everyone doing on the diet? I just found this thread, been on the diet for almost 3 weeks now.
Im 6’1", and used the inaccurate omron handheld monitor.

As you can see, the electrical impedance measure isn’t accurate at all.
Gonna keep trucking, my goal is to be around 200lbs by wedding day (july 24th).
Category 2 right now, so my totals are always ending up around 225-230g protein, and around 1300 cals. No cardio, though Im thinking about adding 20 mins in twice a week on empty stomach.
Is sugar free gum allowed? I believe someone asked and was told no but, since crystal light is I figured gum would be to.
ok im just about to start this as a cat3 T.T god thats depressing…
anyway i think im either blind or retarded because i cant find where the calorie setup is…
i know the level of protein im supposed to be getting per day and per meal but is that it?

You take your protein in grams then multiply by 4 and theres your cals. (ex. 220g protein x 4 = 880cal per day)
You are allowed green fiberous veggies and calorie free drinks. Thats about it.

Excellent…Was worried i was missing something. Thanks
Glad theres a thread here…are there any other cat3 guys in here? what kinda results did you get and how long did you remain on the diet for?
AdvancedTS, did you do any cardio & how long did you run the diet for?

I ran it for 12 days, Monday thru the following Friday.
No cardio, but I did do 2 depletion-style workouts (6 sets x 15 reps all major muscle groups) per week.
I lost 13-14 lbs and almost 3 inches on my waist. After ending the diet I gained back 2 lbs of water weight and NO inches on my waist.
It gets pretty miserable (especially during the weekend part), but there is no better diet in my experience to trim a few inches of fat off of your waist.
