Thinking of giving this diet a try. I will be doing it as a CAT.1. I was wondering if you all have been eating tomatoes freely. They are a technically a fruit but, in the book Lyle states that one can eat as much pico de gallo as they want so, I am a bit confused.

I had tomatoes in my fresh salsa but that was it… I’m not that big of a fan of tomatoes unless its in salsa or on a burger

Damn, I think I will have to lay of the tomatoes then. I do not particularly eat tomatoes but, I do eat a lot of tomato paste.

Nope sadly I didn’t. Not looking quite as ripped up as I did immediately after RFD since I’m running a bit higher carb but still sitting around a very lean 180. I’m contemplating bulking back to around 190-200 and running another round of RFD late October since I’m doing my first PL meet in Nov.
Started my modified RFL I laid out on the last page today.
Starting measurements/weight:
Weight - 179lbs
Waist - 33.5
BF - 9.5%
I am using this as a last ditch effort to get extremely lean before an event and then a subsequent bulk. If I can touch 7% with little to no LBM lost, I’ll be happy. I am anticipating a loss of 5lbs of pure fat in the next 12 days and based of my last run as cat 1 it seems feasible. My protein intake will be around 300g, with 25 + grams of Leucine which I hope preserves as much muscle as possible. This is an experiment, so you can hold all the “bro you’re lean enough you need to be building muscle”. Thanks fat bro, thats what I’ll be doing next.
