Damn Chim dropping body weight and still hitting PR’s? And on a big lift like DL? Hell yeah man.

Thanks greg, knock on wood, my lifts aren’t too great anyway so they have room to go up. Though I guess my DL is decent now.
475 is good dude. Double bodyweight on squat DL are definitely good marks (in my book anyway.) I know there are people on this site might not necessarily agree with that but I think 1.5x bench, 2+x squat and DL are “good” marks.
keep it up
Thanks, I really appreciate the encouragement. Hope to get my DL up to 500 soon.
How’s the BBB going?
Just tried some shirataki (also called miracale) noodles. Not amazing but a pretty good substitute since they’re 0 calorie. For anyone interested check out an asian market, or amazon.

I’ve been working out with my girlfriend and getting her into a program so we’ve been doing the same thing until she gets the hang of it then I’m going to transition into BBB i think.
Just a basic “antagonistic” muscle group type of workout, DB bench then DB row then 60 sec rest. Front sqaut then walking lunge then rest… you know that sort of thing.
Getting her to do DL’s and Squats has been awesome. Its nice to do the same workout when we’re at the gym (just obviously not with the same weight)… And seeing her do big lifts like that is hot! lol

You’re a lucky, lucky man.
^^hahahaha thanks. Shes starting to buy into lifting more of the way I do. She’s gotta have the circuit type of thing in there hence the antagonistic muscle group mini circuit thing but its pretty awesome. Only taken a year and a half lol
Hey all, about a one pound increase after my refeed. Down a total of 5 inches around the belly button thus far.
^^Damn man 5 inches? thats awesome! How much longer do you have on the diet?
hey LM are you still going after the cheat/refeed?

3 more weeks till I’m supposed to take a break (going for 6 weeks). I’m going to have abs once I’m done with all this, so I’m probably going to have to do a couple of rounds.

Yup, taking weekly pics. But not gonna post till I’m done.
oh sweet. Before and After pics are the best show of progress IMO. Numbers are nice but pictures are better. Keep it up Chimera! A 6 week transformation should be pretty incredible

Thanks, this thread is great for accountability.
this actually didnt go so well for me. i was on for about 16-18 days as a cat 2 but only lost like 3lbs over that time. waited for a whoosh that never happened, or perhaps already was whooshed before the diet
anyone ever run into this? perhaps i’ll give it another shot in the future
Down to 183 yesterday. Didn’t manage to get up for morning cardio (went to bed too late last night) but today is another deadlift day today and I’ll do some walking after. Also managed to hit that PR for dips yesterday, did BW 135 for 2 and BW 140 for 1, also set a new PR for Standing Military press and did 165 for 9 strict form. Luckily I haven’t seen my strength start to come down.
I think this may be my new way of dieting as previously my big issue was losing a lot of strength while dieting. This may allow me to keep my strength if not keep increasing while I cut since my cuts are so short timed due to being a CAT 1 dieter. After this is up I’ll do my refeed, possibly go another round or go into maintenance depending on how I look.

I’ve had pretty consistent results with the diet myself as well as with everyone I’ve ever put on it.
If you’re going to try it again, do the following before starting. Eat at maintenence for at least two weeks prior, ideally for four weeks. Then post your stats, proposed daily diet as well as what workouts you plan on doing.
We’ll try to tweak it as much as possible to give you the best chance of success.
thanks for the offer ts.
how many of you actually follow the recommended mineral supplementation? i may have screwed that part up when i tried it.

I don’t, but I do take a greens sup with lotsa veggies. Not the same, but I’m still alive.

Just a multi-vitamin and fish oil (3-5g) daily.
Casein protein is your best friend on this diet, I can’t say it enough. There are a shit load of things you can do with it (brownies, pancakes, muffins, ice cream) that make the shit more bearable. Plus it tastes much better than whey, and is slow digesting so it keeps you feeling full. PM me if you want to know the best kind to get for this diet.
oddly enough i had no issue with hunger, even without eating many veggies. CC was the closest i got to casein.
too much sodium and lack of the other minerals when i ate may have caused water retention and nonwhooshing, which is why i mentioned the mineral supplementation (K, Ca, Mg)
