Yeah it eventually fades. Where are you as far as cat, and stats since you started?
Started as cat 2(still am). I’m exactly one week in and thus far I’ve gone from 240 22ish%bf to 225 18ish bf%. The BF measurements are done by me with electronic calibers, so I don’t put TOO much stock in them. My waist has gone from 42 to 39.
The electronic calipers are so-so based on my experience, but if you’re losing inches on your waist, then you’re losing bodyfat. Good work, keep us updated.

Thanks, I mostly do it to look for trends. I’ll post updates as they come along.

yea what he said^^ 22 and 18 might not be your exact BF%'s but who really cares if they’re off… As long as its going down and you’re looking better when you look in the mirror then you’re doing good.

keep it up

.greg.

I have a new found love of spinach salad and italian dressing (3g carbs/2 tbsp). This and green beans with sea salt may be my saving grace for hunger. Also, down to 186 (down 3 lbs). Early morning cardio and a NEPA walk tonight. Surprisingly my meals actually fill me up. I ate 2 chicken breasts for dinner with a ton of Mrs. Dash’ chipotle seasoning and my mouth is on fire but my stomach is quite full. Good in the fact that it gets full now, bad in the fact that I want to go to Buffalo New York for this years annual wing festival.

Edit: I think I may have eaten too much spinach today (16 oz). Even though Lyle says you can eat as much as you want, I think I found the limit.

RFL protein pancakes:

What I did was

2 scoops casein protein
1 cup egg whites
2 tbs xylitol (or splenda)
2 pinches of salt
cinammon to taste

Cook like a pancake

Not as good as my normal recipe but it’s still tasty.

EDIT: This is using vanilla protein.

Chocolate casein is the shit. I make brownies, cookies, protein bars, muffins and pancakes with it.

^^do these actually taste good or do they “taste good for protein ________'s”??? (<----insert whatever food item here)

I like MRE’s and chow hall food so my tastes may be a little “off”.

They taste pretty fucking good, IMO

The protein pancakes I make when not on this diet have been vetted by people who don’t like protein powder. I can look up the recipe if you’d like.

made some of these again but just ate the batter. Tastes like poundcake, much better than the cooked version imo. Cooking doesn’t work out great because it doesn’t have anything to bind with like chopped up almonds.

Oh, ha. After last week’s leg day I couldn’t walk properly for 5 days. Yesterday I did the same workout with 2 extra exercises, and increased weight on every lift. Barely even sore today.

Oh yeah I forgot, you can make casein ice cream.

 1. mix casein with water until it is the consistency of cake batter
 2. freeze
 3. take it out let it thaw for 20 min
 4. eat
 5. enjoy
 6. come back to this thread and thank me
 7. I’ll say you’re welcome

I was considering keeping it clean because I could eat a couple of large pizzas without feeling full.
