Apparently this was mentioned on mmaweekly radio this evening. I would listen but I don’t have time tonight.
I read about this on sherdog and after 6 pages not one post to dispute this. I’m going to guess this is some marketing hype by Dana? Or complete BS…if so I apologize in advance.
While I would love to see Randy beat Tim for the belt, I don’t want to see Randy get thrashed.
I do think he would have a chance but not a big one. Granted if Tim fights the way he’s been fighting chances are Randy will lose a decision. If he does win…please don’t fight CC.
I know Randy said if Tito wins he’s coming back. Anyways I put little stock in this announcement.
I’m pretty sure Randy is suppose to have some news coming out soon. Perhaps he’s going to fight…preferably not Tim, maybe Goldberg for a winner takes annoucer position?
Unfortunate, but I think Randy would get soundly thrashed by Sylvia. Sylvia has tremendous punching power and an amazing take down defence, too much for old Randy. I think the bout would be a lot like the Monson fight, boring and with Sylvia keeping Randy at a distance with his long arms.
I am not a Sylvia fan by any means, in fact I can’t stand him, I won’t pay for his fights anymore, but the person to beat him can’t be a wrestler, it has to be a nimble striker. I think that Brandon Vera stands a good chance of putting a whup down on Sylvia. Also, Mirko Cro Cop fought a guy Sylvia’s height and knocked him out with a kick to the head. Now that would be something I’d pay money for.
Fedor vs Sylvia now I would pay to see that. Fedor doesn’t look like a pro athlete but where are the weaknesses?
You can smack em try to submit him he’ll bounce back and anihilate you. Coleman and Cro Cop are 2 of the best in that weightclass and Fedor beats em like their nothing. Cro Cop would kill Sylvia 2 can’t believe he beat arlovski
Why not just let Chuck put on some weight and let them go at it then? Makes more sense to me. Or just let CroCop kick Tim’s ass and call it a day. How long are they going to make us wait to see that? Are they honestly going to make Mirko go through all the contenders? If so they should just make a night out of it. UFC 69: CroCop beats the shit out of everyone. Hell, throw them all in the cage at the same time.
