When doing assistance work for the purpose of building muscle mass, which looks like a better strategy for ramping/pyramiding:
3 x 8-12 on exercise
50x12
65x10
80x8
or…
50x8
65x8
80x8
or does is there no real difference between the two?
I also know that some lifter use straight sets on assistance, but I am not really interested in doing that.
