Cretin knows full well that I believe this might be one of the least effective weight training methods. I didn’t do 1 rep maxes training for Powerlifting meets. There is no reasonable rationale for doing so in bodybuilding efforts.
IMO, Cretin does his esoteric lifts of 1 rep maxes to keep his interest high and anticipation of the next workout. Have at it.

Most people find my training methods offensive, it seems to make people feel they need to speak out against it, like you RT even though the 1-rep max could’ve gotten you to 800# lifts.

@zecarlo Back on topic, while open carry may have tactical drawbacks, so does being a small woman or elderly person who will appear to be an easy target. There’s really nothing like a gun to make it clear that messing with someone can have consequences. She also had a good quality retention holster.
