This exactly how I think about this one.
The left never reminds anyone that adoption is an option.
The left always talks about a 12 year old who has been raped by dad. It is a thing but if there is proof of dad raping daughter or step daughter and abortions being done yet the left has this knowledge, we got a bigger problem here.
My point is, if the left is aware of a certain dad raping daughter and getting an abortion, dad must now be locked up? I’d damn sure hope so………
Then no muscle would need a stretch to grow. Muscle is muscle and they all grow due to the same type of stimulus, because they are muscles.
The stretch in all muscles targets different stresses and areas.
You won’t get the same stress doing an isometric versus a near max lift in a more stretched position. The traps cover a lot of the back and various grip widths and ranges of motions target these areas.
But bottom line stress does the job. If you can always do an isometric contraction without any forced stretch from breakdown growth progress haults.
Some muscles do respond to SMH, others don’t. Unless you’re able to add SSN, stretch isn’t nearly as important as previously thought.

Do you think this will happen? I remember back in like 2020 everyone my age was thinking they were about to get sent off to Iran. Then other people were saying, no, they “can’t” do a draft again. Like legally, is there any reason why the government couldn’t send me wherever tomorrow?
Or something else I’ve heard is that during Vietnam, guys in college/with degrees and guys with families were less likely to be drafted, or maybe it was that they could more easily get a deferment if they were drafted. Is that true? If so, would it still probably be the case in the future?
Legally, No.
I believe this was true to an extent, but now there are many jobs in the military that require an advanced education due to the advancement of technology. If they want bodies bad enough, your education won’t matter if you are young and healthy.

I met an older guy a few weeks ago who told me his wife had taught for 40 years. On her first day, two big male students came up to her and said, “This is our school, we make the rules.” She told them to sit down, and one of them stepped toward her, bumping his chest into her. She stepped back toward him, and bumped into him, causing him to take a step back. She used the momentum to grab his shirt and push him back across the classroom, slamming him into the cupboard at the back of the room, and said, “No, I’m in charge. Now sit down.”
Those two boys never gave her another problem and ended up helping her keep the other kids in line.

So when a war breaks out, get really unhealthy? Like 400 lbs? Would that turn them away?
It would at the very least delay it a lot. I am diabetic with bad eyesight and getting old now so I think I am off the list, but you are young and virile. Start that dirty bulk now…lol.

A muscle is a muscle, they all respond to the same stuff.
If your farmers walking 450, your not going to continue growing with 450 especially if the handles are knee height.
If you want continuous growth your going to have to up the weights OR lower the handles with 400-450 because that stress is stimulating the traps in a lower stretched position. Adding reps on the pickup will do even better.
Not talking progressive overload. That’s a given. But… the traps do not need to be stretched to grow.
SMH works for - legs, pecs to a degree.
Scapular retraction is actually a pretty short ROM anyway, but it’s an effective ROM
The Selective Service System exists, and you have to register with them, so everything is in place for a draft to occur.
To actually start drafting people would take an act on Congress and the approval of the President. So, theoretically it could happen fast. But probably not “Tomorrow” fast.
As far as deferments, they’ve always been around. In the Civil War you could pay a big fee to get out of the draft, or find somebody to take your place.
Lots of dudes didn’t serve in WW2 because of flat feet.
Being in college could keep you out of Vietnam. In “Animal House” the dean is all excited to kick the Deltas out of school and notify the draft board about it.
Here’s an article that popped up.

Let me use the pecs as the same example.
I know this because I don’t own a bench, however when I go the gym every so often I grab a bench to get the stretch work in-
I do floor pressing as my primary pec work because I don’t have a bench.
I can also grip dumbbells doing pushups with a weight pack on to.
Anyway, the floor press is making my pecs grow, I did them last night my pecs are harder and I feel the stimulus, yes this work via progressive overload and gaining more and more reps.
Will using a bench do me better or a cambered bar for growing? YES it will!
That same concept works for traps too.
Because pecs respond to SMH to a degree as I already stated. I used to do floor press in my garage gym. That Dr. Joel Siedman dude (sp) only goes to 90 degrees on his stuff.
But nothing NEEDS to be stretched to grow is my point, but it certainly helps.
Your not going to get as good deep trap erector stimulation doing only farmers walks as opposed to other full ROM movements just like your not going to get full all around pec development doing only floor press.
I can provide another example. Doing a hack deadlift will not target as much trap stimulus as conventional dead lift. In the hack dead lift you are for sure doing isometric contraction however the lats are being stretched here and the lats actually grow more from hack deadlift. The conventional deadlift you are getting the opposite, the lats are isometric contraction and the traps are more stretched. Conventional desds still make lats grow, but they hit the traps harder.
Deadlifts are hip extension… how do they grow the lats?? Not a function of the lats
Rarely see pure powerlifters with good trap / lat development. The ones that do are also doing rows and pulldowns
Interesting counter-strategy there.
Basically, you go to Fat Camp Jail until you are fit enough to serve, and THEN you serve.

Once I gave it some thought, I realized depending on how bad things were, being 400lbs might result in a faster death.

The term incel is now used for male sex havers, including those with children or who had sex on their last lunch break, not just the womanless.

You are in fact getting isometric contraction doing deadlifts.
Will you get Franco Columbo wings doing only deadlift? No. Same as you WONT get Arnold looking pecs doing only floor press.
However you WILL get dense hard mass lats doing deadlift. There NOBODY deadlifting over 405 with soft lats whether they do anything else for lats or not.
I never did pull-ups or rows NEVER and my back was my best biggest area because I deadlifted over 405. I did ZERO bodybuilding or accessory work.
Contrast that with this video just released that shows a textbook lack of response to student violence promoted by Maine DOE policies.
Obviously the kids have no respect for any of those adults, nor do they fear any consequences that could be imposed.
Utter ineptitude.
