Doug Neidermyer was killed in Nam by his own men.
I know it’s only a movie, but there were people who instead of going to college went to Nam because everyone else had to go and they felt it was the right thing.

You really are a moron. I don’t think you could even make sense of your posts.
I can provide plenty of examples of very strong dead lifters with poor lat development… however, not arguing they do contribute to dead lift function.
No. All the people in power know the best way they could lose their power is by getting Americans to unite against them.
Instead they’ll just propagandize and get the people who love this country most to go off and die for them.
I need to see these examples, post some because I’ve never seen someone who can deadlift who doesn’t at least have some foundational lat development?
I can provide and example of one of the most muscular men in powerlifting history with links-
Dave Jacoby was a long distance trucker and only had time to train once a week on the big 3 and that’s it, look at this specimen. Many guys from this era used a similar minimal approach because of their jobs, but Dave didn’t do anything else it was Squat/Bench/Dead.
All of the men in my family enlisted to go. Thats what we do. You turn 18, you enlist in the branch of your choosing.
It does seem to mean something like “chauvinist pig” did at one time. This board is the only place I’ve ever seen the term “incel” used.
It could be that people who use the term don’t know what either word means.
I used to use the term, I thought I knew what it meant. But I no longer use it because it’s become the same as the word racist. It’s just a way to shut down conversation. And to be honest, I don’t think the term was ever something I or anyone else should have used. It was always a term laced with nastiness and degradation. I regret ever having used it.
It seems to have gone through three meanings in order:
Definitions 2 and 3 are used as insults. Definition 1 simply is a man who wants a woman, but who has had no luck in finding one for six months or more.
I don’t like the term even with this definition. I think it glosses over the real issues behind not having luck with women. It used to be we simply said a man like this lacked confidence or was shy. I believe that whatever causes a guy to have issues with women probably impacts other areas of his life. Maybe I’m thinking too much about it, but incel seems like it’s used as referring to the disease and not a symptom. I feel like even the most benign definition has some amount of misogyny tainting it. It’s why I won’t use it at all.
I hate this analogy on so many levels ![]()
I don’t understand this view. AR-15’s are citizen versions of a rifle platform literally designed to be economical for mass military purchase, and deadly enough.
They shoot .22 caliber bullets. The vast majority of mass shooters would be much more successful with run of the mill shotguns, especially shooters in enclosed areas.
AR’s also fall under the category of “rifle” in FBI crime statistics and are one of the least utilized weapons in murders. Controlled dialogue is a powerful tool.
There are reasons why LEOs and military use carbines or handguns for clearing rooms rather than shotguns.
Weird kids aren’t trained and can’t aim for shit.
They still manage to kill a bunch of children. I would prefer, if I had to choose, they use shotguns because reloading would take longer, the weapon itself is less easily concealed, it is harder to maneuver and is easier to disarm. And if the shooter is untrained, he’ll probably end up having the butt smack him in the face with the recoil.
Being late is the easiest way to say I don’t care about what’s going on around me, I’m more important.
Twist: I’m very busy and today was planned before you popped on to my radar, but I prioritized you enough to make time and appreciate your patience.
That proved my point.
It was very kindly stated though.
Eh, if there wasn’t any care the opportunity to be late wouldn’t exist to begin with. I see what you mean though.
This always grinds me, because of the implication that the rest of us aren’t.
It’s up there with “I wish I had time to train like you do”
