Just a basic question I suppose. When doing rack pulls where should I pull from? Above the knee, below the knee, mid-shin even?
when i do them, the bar rests about an inch below the bottom of my knee caps. i suppose you could go a hair lower but the reason i do racks in the first place is because of lower back issues. that’s as low as i can go without putting myself in danger of re-injury while still getting something out of the movement. i love them actually.
Do a search. There is a thread or two about this exact topic with at least 50 replies. You will deinitely find the answer you are looking for.

Hai there! yup Brotherhood of Iron, you responded to me asking it.
theres a workout from this site called blending size and strength which involves rack pulls and they said to place the bars directly below the little bump on the lower ouitside part of the knee.
The page this workout is on is quoted as “On rack deads, set the pin so that you’re starting three or four inches below the knee, just below the tibial tuberosity (that bump just below your kneecap.)”
