Hit a 600 squat in the home-made suit tonight! And then just missed a 585 sumo pull in the same suit.

Here is said 600 squat
squat looked comfortable!
Working on my reps, hit 210kg x 2 x 4 sets last night - Smolov seems to be helping my pulling! All felt comfortable, edging towards the 600…

Thanks!
Took my dynamic pulling up to 355 + Lights today and the dynamic squats with the SSB to 300 + AVG, so things are looking good!
Finally made it into the club. 600 pull at the USPA multiply meet I did last weekend. Video up soon

YES! Glad to have you here my friend, congratulations!
I"m a little suprised. I thought these race to 400/500/600 threads were raw. Regardless, congratulations to all since I couldn’t squat/deadlift 600 with any kind of suit, reverse bands, or anyway shape or form yet, still working on 425-450 squat. ![]()

Don’t get bent out of shape. They are primarily for raw (I started this one as such anyway), but equipped counts as long as you make your own equipment! Keep after that squat and 500 will be just around the corner.
600 pull from USPA mutliply meet 7/2
Also, my 666 squat from last month.
Next order of business is to test my raw pull and get it over 600

Does it matter? If someone claims a 600 in single ply, then they hit 600 in single ply. You are not falling behind or doing worse if you are still going for 600 raw, because raw and single ply do not compare with each other, just like single ply and multi ply do not compare with each other.
You fight your own demons in the iron game, not others.
Nice lifts MM! 600 pull by the end of the year…maybe…

I’m not really worried about it, I was just suprised to see geared and raw squats in the same race thread. Congratulations on making your own suit, and the squat, I didn’t think that a homemade suit/shirt was possible.

It doesn’t matter enough to be bothered by it. My personal opinion, which probably noone else cares about, is that it’s a little weird to put raw and geared squats in the same race thread for the same amount. Since a 600 single ply squat is probably about 525-500. Ultimately to each their own, since it’s going to be a long time before my 145 pound frame is close to squatting 600 raw.
