It’s up to you man. Pick and choose your own dates. Some people follow them, others aren’t. It’s a personal decision.

No andros here yet and Jared my weight is in the morning and evening post workout not pre work out . And as far as the body fat % sitting at about 11% as of this weekend but I gave up the shredded look cause i will never be there or want to get there I should say for now.

Al- I started buying all X-L shirts a while back, so I would not hav to buy new. Pant will be a problem however.

ko - you take a dump first thing in the morning? That happens to me more when I work out in the mornings.

I need to start weighing in the morning for consistency. It’ll probably be closer to what I’d weigh at a weigh-in, considering the time of day they usually take place.

I don’t know about you guys, but I take like 3-4 shits a day. Post pee, post dump could be numerous times a day for me.

yeah, um…my BF% is a little higher than 8-9%…;o) Took it last week and it was at 11% which I think is freakin ridiculous. It was a Tanita scale and I just don’t trust those things. I wish I had a camera to post a pic here so that you guys could see, cause I really don’t feel as if I am that high (not that 11% is horrible, but compared to 8-9% it is). Does anyone else have an opionion on the reliability of Tanita’s scales in general?

Tony one day I used one at a friends house and it read like 22% I about broke the thing, then I found out it has to be set up to you height and all that shit.

Tanita’s are good for measuring progress, not actual bf%. If you take your measurement under the same conditions every day, it will show you which way you are going, up or down. That’s about all they are good for.

And mine says I’m 22 or 21% all the time, but I know I’m not. It’s ridiculous.

im sorry guys im not going to be able to participate. im not going to officially start bulking until october. im kinda doing a maintenance thing for now. im already about 190, but with some fat gain. ill get back to you guys in october and see if anyone else wants to start with me.

I got a tanita and a few months ago when I had my pics on the photo section; I tested it with my tanita and it said 11.5%. I think it is better for measuring changes though. Actually, the only thing I use it for now is for a scale.

I have a weight related question. I know I reported my weight at 160 but that is a little off. I haven’t weighed myself in a while. I actually weigh 156 right now. I had 2- 1 week vacations in a 4 week period and then I got a stomach virus 2 weeks ago. Seems like I lost a good bit of weight. I weighed myself today and was a little suprised. Oh well, I guess I just have to gain those 4 pounds back and the other 20 pounds to reach my goal.

My girlfriend’s mom just got a BF scale (by THINNER) and I seriously questioned its accuracy. At first, my weight was about 14 lbs. light.
After a while it got my weight about right, but I need to set myself on “athlete” to get an accurate BF reading. Even that, though, is a bit high, but it’s within two points.

I think I’ll use it through out the program, but at the end I’ll use the same caliper method I did for my initial stats.

Hope you’re all having fun, I’m not eating nearly enough, but I’m still up about 4 lbs.
