Check that…damn near fucking 350lbs.

That’s a lot of fucking eating right there boy.

Good lawd

He says anywhere from 3 to 7000 kcal, which seems surprisingly low. But, having trained from age 12 an with a 425 bench at 16, he’s had a few years to pack on the meat.

Too bad about his calves and legs though - and forgive me for saying this but looking at his training vids he doesn’t train them with anywhere near the focus that he does his other bodyparts.

There is no doubt a reason for that. I have knee pain and I am only 5’10" and a half. It limits my leg work greatly. In fact, I am absolutely positive they would be much further along if I didn’t have to wait nearly two weeks or more sometimes between training them.

I would imagine some of these taller bodybuilders have similar issues…not to mention the man is in his 40’s.
Yeah, didn’t think of that. Carrying around 350 all day must take its toll on knees and ancles.

That wasn’t the point. I wasn’t blaming body weight and I have had minor knee issues all of my life. Lifting enough weight to get your quads over 30" can eventually take its toll on joints all by itself, especially if someone is very tall. Joel Stubbs no doubt has the same problem because for someone with the clear genetics to caryy more size in his legs, you can bet someone at that stage isn’t ignoring them because of laziness.

I forgive you, though if you told Quincy that he doesn’t train his legs with enough focus, he might “train” his legs by “focusing” on turning you into a protein shake and eating you ;). The guy is friggin enormous. I’m jealous. I’m nowhere near as big or lean. Pass the doughnuts…

Yeah, no doubt. Obviously laziness isn’t a factor at that level, it didn’t occur to me that it could be because of what you’re saying. Live and learn.

Regardless, he’s a great representative for the sport.

Quincy back to back with Joel Stubbs. Not quite there, but he makes it happen. Arguably.

Not even close, I’m looking at the pic right now. Quincy has a good back, but no one can match stubbs.
Aight, I’ll give you that. Stubbs is freakishly gifted, shame about the knee injuries. But, check ot how much Quincy kills him in the lower back.

Quincy has been impressive for years, but we don’t see him as much as before. You can’t compare Stubbs with him though, as QT is a better bodybuilder, even if JS has impressive bodyparts - bodybuilding is about the complete package, and Quincy has better proportions and balance.

I like Stubbs a lot and he seems like a very kind, genuine guy (saw the guy a few times at contests), but those legs are getting nowhere while his upper body continues to grow like a weed. He tore both his patellas playing basketball years ago BTW.

Yah QT has him in the lower back department, but dear god, Stubb’s lats have lats lol

Watching ‘The Battle for the Olympia 2007’ and Quincy’s segment came up. I was blown away by the fact that he says he’s LUCKY to make 20 to 30 grand a year.

Are you surprised by how little money he makes? BB isn’t mainstream, so revenue potential is not great, then factor in he’s not Ronnie so I don’t find it at all surprising.

Absolute monster though

True. What a catastrophe!
He admits his lack of leg size today is a result of fear to push into heavier weights.
I don’t blame him.

Man I’ve seen vids of him squatting 500 like it was nothing, how heavy is “heavy” to this guy?

And how the fuck do you tear both your patella’s playing basketball? wtf!

In Norway, you can easily make 50-60 a year mopping floors. Under 40 is considered ‘poor’…

It’s just absolute laziness if you can’t make more than 20,000 a year, especially when you are a pro athlete. Market your image via personal training or something else, that’s his fault and no one elses.
