How long of a jumping rope should a 6’2" - 6’3" person be using? i have a 8’ foot rope, is the jumping rope just too short for me or do i just suck?
If you stand on the rope with your feet together, the ends should come to your armpits.
Irontank, I’m about the same height and a 9’ rope works good for me.
I have to admit that right now I suck big time in rope skipping. I have to have my 9 year old daughter help me as she does her Rocky routine with ease.
thanks for teh quick replies, the handles come about 6’ inch shy on both sides so a 9’ foot rope will be prefect, now i just have to go out and get another one, thanks
yo has it perfect. But I would suggest a little variance. Instead of allowing your hands to drop, pinch shoulder blades back and elbows into sides, elbow to wrist is roughly parallel to ground. - In faith, Coach Davies
