Wake up?
At the start of the thread it just says post away, so obviously prior knowledge is expected. I have been through Thibās forum and through many articles and can not find anything specifically outlining what it is/why to do it so I thought Iād ask here.

Read this whole thread, yes all 17 pages, the FAQ thread and google it. It will make you put together the pieces. Good luck!

Do at least some basic research before you post. READ THE THREAD!!
Ciz,
It took me a while to really understand it too, and Iāve been on here for a long time. Apparently, the whole thing has kind of evolved rather than being put forward in a nice little package.

Thank you sir!
Hi Coach,
Looks very exciting.

Hello:
Thib, Thanks for all your valuable info. One question though I am on a limmited budget and was wondering what would be the best approach with just bcaaās, leucine and whey isolate protein. Thanks for all your help.
0.2g of BCAAs per pound 45 minutes before workout
5-7g leucine 20 minutes before workout
25g whey isolate and 20-30g of a fast-absorbed carb 10 minutes before workout
25g whey isolate and 5-7g of leucine during the workout (finishing pretty much with the end of the workout)
50g whey 15 minutes after the workout
5-7g leucine 80 minutes after the workout
50g whey 90 minutes after the workout
You have a shake immediately after aa workout, and 90 mintes later? Why is this, I tohught roughly an hour-90mintues after your PWO meal you were supposed to have a meal?
Found my answersā¦
Hey CT,
With this pulsing protocol, is there any chance of developing chronic insulinemia (or insulin resistance) because of the frequent consumption of fast-digesting proteins (and the resultant increased frequency of insulin spikes)?

Hey there pals,
Question: Im on CTās carb cycle codex diet (bulking) and using the Surge recovery and Surge workout fuel as peri workout protocol only. At 241g Protein per day, would I benefit from a low protein day? And should do this on one of my days off. On of the low carb dayā¦just drop the protein down and increase the fats to hit the caloric total for the day?? What you thinkā¦
Ignore this question I found my answersā¦
Is the white meat/low fat meal necessary for pulsing to be effective? I can only eat so much chicken breast and tilapia day to day. Is it okay to just eat some ground beef or steak after a pulse?
Hey CT,
I had a question about low protein days so I figured Iād post it here. Iām looking to add 1 low protein day and one low calorie day each week to help combat fat gain while trying to gain LBM. I was wondering if would be ok to combine these on the same day? I was thinking of setting up the meal plan like this:
Meal 1: 12g CH + 5g leucine pulse. 20 minutes later 1 serving Surge Recovery + 1 scoop regular whey protein. 30 minutes later 2 apples.
Meal 2: 1 apple + handful of almonds and walnuts
Meal 3: 1 apple + handful of almonds and walnuts
Meal 4: 1 apple + handful of almonds and walnuts
Meal 5: 12g CH + 5g leucine pulse. 20 minutes later 8oz red meat + 10g fish oil.
Total calories: 2010cals 152g protein 218g carbs 60g fat
Anyone know what CT recomends for carbs and fats throughout the day with protein pulsing, and the pre-workout protocol. Iām looking to gain as much muscle as possible, not so much concerned with losing fat.
I remember seeing somewhere that he recomends low carbs throughout the day except for 40g to 60g of carbs for your post workout meal (after the protocol), I remember reading somewhere that lowering your carbs throughout the day will create a bigger insulin surge for the pulsing and pre-workout protocol.
I also remember seeing somewhere that he says that fats decrease the effectiveness of protein pulsing, does this include efaās: olive oil, peanut butter, omega-3 etcā¦? Iām having trouble finding this info on the forum, If anyone could answer this or possibly just validate this I would really appreciate your help.
i was wondering if anybody could comment on this question or give some type of feedback.
i Had heard some different things about how long you should go from eating a meal and your next protein pulse, seeing as someone had stated that your blood aminos are raised for 4 hours to 6 hours. i know that you wouldnt want a complete depletion before your next protein pulse, but enough to have the valley and peak affect. i am currently eating 4 solid food meals a day not including the Peri workout protocol that CT recommends. someone had stated because of hunger purposes, that it would be ok to eat a small amount of food inbetween the meal and the next protein pulse as long as it didnt affect your blood aminos. i was wondering for example if you could do something like this.
wake up (930)- pulse
30 min later (10)- breakfast
1.5 hours later(1130)- eat some fibrous veggies
1.5 hours later (1)- 2nd pulse
30 min later (1)- lunch
(3) Alpha-GPC
(345)- 1 FINiBAR
(4)- 2 scoops Surge Workout Fuel
(415) 2 scoops Surge Recovery
(430- till end of workout )- sip on 25 g WH + 5 g L-Leucine (this is same as pulses)
(530)- end of workout
(630) - 25 g WH + 5g L-Leucine
(7)- Dinner (red beef + EFAās + olive oil etc.
(930)- another small meal ( red beef + same as above)
(1245)before bed- 2 whole eggs + 1 scoop of casein+ veggies
i also take 6 FA3 capsules a day and Animal Omega for efaās.
any response would be greatly appreciated
Im really curious to see a protocol for a high fat diet.
