The point is not just that your lifts aren’t particularly impressive, but that overall you still have a lot of work to do. Steroids do not come without negativity, without potential side-effects, without risks. You don’t need to be using them when you can still achieve a great deal just by eating and lifting.

I am somewhat stronger than you, and probably more muscular, and I couldn’t even begin to imagine using steroids any time in the near or even somewhat near future. CC is completely correct, I think 50 extra pounds of muscle on you is totally reasonable and achievable, probably more.
Lifting a particular weight is necessary to do one AAS cycle? Why? I’m not going to be going to the gym after I’m 25-26, period. I have a lot of different motives and ideas than what you guys think. Besides that I think you all are on the spot with me, not being big or strong.

However, I never asked anything about side-effects, or looking like Ronnie Coleman, so why are you all treating me like I want to be big in a day. I have my motives and they’re not as patronized as you all think before knowing me.

Anyway, thanks everybody.

I don’t care about others. I don’t do weight training for them.
You’re not going to the gym after 25 or 26? Then what’s the point? No matter how big you get, if you become inactive it will pretty much all go to waste.

But you’re right. You’re small, weak, and inexperienced, so you should definitely juice, it will fix everything.
Dawww, stepped on your toe. Unlike others, I don’t do this to be admired… It is what I want for me. Anyway mate, nevermind. I clearly went to the wrong place. All US boards the same, patronizing, and everyone is the same stereotype to you “big people”. Can’t ask a question without being judged.

Well, I’m not from the US and I think this is a dumb idea. If you aren’t going to lift after 25, just give up now, why bother at all.

Because I love it. Simply won’t be able to do it around that age.

Cause he’s not dedicated enough, or willing to put in the work.

OP, you can get noticeable results easily, just like CC said, with just lifting hard and eating. Obviously if you’re 20 and already looking for steroids for the quickest way to achieve your goals, you’re doing something wrong.

I say this because I’m just turning 21 like yourself, and I’m running into people who haven’t seen me in a year (since I started lifting) and they all compliment me on how “huge” I am (compared to what I was, yes, I’m huge). I can’t even imagine taking steroids right now man

They’re asking about your current lifting stats to get an idea of current development. For a beginner simply lifting progressively heavier weight and eating enough will give results akin to what you’re probably hoping to get from AAS use.

If you can get the same results without the risk of side-effects why bother with the AAS people with more experience at this are just trying to give you advice.

Also regardless of whether you decide to use steroids or not building muscle takes a long time thats why you’re getting these responses when you say you won’t be lifting by 25-26. 4-5 years is probably how long it’ll be before you progress enough that you may want to reassess whether to use steroids or not.

It might be a better to start by telling people your goals so that they can give better advice. Standard advice given in the bodybuilding section of this site is given based on the assumption you want to be as big and strong as humanly possible.

If you really know what you’re doing and are progressing as implied in your first post then you got a pretty good answer from Bill and should just ignore everyone else and keep doing whats working.

Stepped on my toe? lolwut? sorry I’m a patronizing American, so I don’t understand your stupid expressions.

Nobody really cares what you do, but if you post here, you’re going to get input. You are not someone who needs to be considering steroids, simple as that. Not in the US, not in Europe, not in Africa. Now if you go to Antarctica, then it’s a different story.

Well, myself, I drive a Yugo. It’s still on the original spark plugs, is missing on some cylinders, and tops out at about 45 mph. I am not interested though in a basic tuneup. That isn’t for me.

I want to go fast because I love to drive, though I’m going to hang it up fairly shortly because I won’t have time for it. I’ll take the bus.

Anyway I am thinking of running nitro, and am doing serious research before I do it. However these American boards are so patronizing. It really frustrates me.

Can’t I just get some straight advice on running nitro?

I think you just stepped all over the OP’s toe.

I wouldn’t normally answer on these type of questions (no offence to the others) but since this is in the BB section I’ll take exception

I remember taking a cycle (pretty basic beginners stack) when I was about 21. Let me just say now how stupid that idea was. Haven’t touched them since. Basically, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing but was blinded by insecurity and impatience.

I got leaner, and added a few pounds, which is absolutely rubbish considering that I’ve made much better gains naturally just by doing things the “right” way. It took me months before I properly got into a my natural stride again (my own testosterone levels had plummeted due to bad post cycle therapy).

Like others have said, if you don’t know the basics of nutrition / lifting to be able to add 30+lbs naturally, then you’re wasting your money and shutting down your own testosterone levels for nothing. No-one is saying this to be patronising, they’re just being direct and it’s for your own good.

I would really like to know your reason for only wanting temporary gains?

PS - Don’t worry, I’m Scottish!
