Question on Progress With T-Dawg

I’ve been following T-Dawg 2.0 for 4 weeks while doing Waturbury’s 10X3 for fat loss. I’ve lost only 5 pounds so far. I started using HOT-ROX last week. Since I’ve lost almost two inches from around my stomach, I’m pretty sure that means I am gaining muscle, but I’m a little worried about the scale weight not dropping quicker.

Just to give some details… I started out at 241 lbs at around 30% bf. So with 170 pounds lbm I should be eating around 2000 calories a day according to t-dawg. Since this seems a little low to me, I’ve been averaging 2100-2200 calories a day.

Just wondering if anyone out there would be willing to tell me if they think my progress is good or I should be tweaking something for faster fat loss.

A caloric deficit of 500 per day will amount to about 1 lbs of weight loss per week (1000 cal per day ~= 2 lbs per week), so the speed of your weight loss is within a normal range.

Losing weight any faster is not recommended anyway, because you will almost certainly lose some muscle during the process and there could be other health related issues as well.
