Question for John Berardi

In your interview in Ian King’s Get Buffed newsletter, you said that aerobic and resistance training both increase insulin sensitivity through “some different and some similar” mechanisms. I do (in addition to lifting weights) a high intensity interval training program on an exercise bike… which is an aneorbic activity. Would I get more benefit if I mixed in some aerobic activities like jogging, so I can further reduce my insulin sensitivity? In other words, by only doing anerobic work am I neglecting benefits of aerobic training with regards to insulin sensitivity? Thanks.

Yeah, I think adding some aerobics would help more than just anaerobic work alone.
