This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you choose the weight for Tabata squats? I suppose that one should choose the amount that enables him to do 8-10 reps in the 20 sec interval. Is this correct?

If you don’t throw up it’s not heavy enough!
8 sets, 20secs duration, 10secs rest between sets. Probably looking at 20-30RM.

For Front Squats, 65 pounds is a good start. 95 is tougher than you think, 115 is really something…135 is pretty damn good. I did 155 once and couldn’t get more than doubles in the last minute…I couldn’t catch my breath. I was FSing 425 at the time.
Back Squats don’t work very well, I found. You can do it, but you need to hold onto the bar ready to slide under the whole time.
