Yes prefatiguing radialis for muscle gains is quite nonsense. It is like pre fatiguing calves before leg press for quad development.
That’s not really a great analogy though as the brachioradialis, brachialis, and biceps brachii all cross the elbow joint and all perform the function of flexing the elbow. The calves and quads share no common joint actions, and calves are not heavily involved in leg pressing.
And, although he doesn’t specifically title it pre fatiguing, John Meadows has written that he prefers to have people work their brachialis and brachioradialis before moving on to biceps work, so it obviously isn’t “nonsense” to consider doing so.
I personally don’t understand why both techniques can’t be beneficial. Lots of people have made use of the classical style (isolation for target muscle followed by compound involving that muscle), and yet others have gotten good results with the other form of pre fatigue (isolation for dominant supporting muscles followed by compound for target muscle). another thing I like about pre-exhausting my chest with pec dec before any presses is my shoulders never ache anymore, when they used to always niggle away. Also feels a bit like my inner chest is filling out a bit more, I never thought it was possible to emphasise that area but it appears I was wrong. Pre-exhausting’s great, although I’ll admit it does suck a bit to have to use much lighter weights when you press. My fragile ego reels from it.
I like pre-exhausting. Anyone else want to talk about pre-exhausting?
Your method doesn’t make sense according to Professor X - the Baron of Bodybuilding, the Duke of Deltoids, the Sultan of Swole, the Head of Hypertrophy, the Monarch of Mass.

Yeah, admittedly I’ve checked in a couple of times this week too. Like watching a train wreck on a TV show that you’ve already seen several times before in syndication.

At least you recognize the “crime of faggotry” part

Pretty funny. This is your reaction when people throw your own quotes back in your face.

I know what meadow wrote, i know what x wrote. X was writing about ‘prefatiguing’ brachioradialis alone to get bigger biceps which is basically doing reverse wrist curls. Not exactly the same what meadow writes.
I am sure Tate didnt mean either that doing tricep extensions before benchpress makes your chest bigger for lols sake.
LOL. It doesn’t matter that I want this thread back on track and it doesn’t matter if I didn’t post for days.
These guys will do this no matter what.
What is lame s acting like anyone is making them do it but themselves.
To the people without their heads up their ass who actually tried to understand what was written…enjoy getting way bigger than most of the whiners over time.

Well, getting this thread “back on track” sure would allow for the “other stuff” to quietly go away so you don’t have to address it, wouldn’t it?
Oh, the high road, looks so nice from down there, doesn’t it?

Only 2 or 3 guys agreed with you ,while the majority on the forum disagreed. Pretty sure there were more bigger guys who disagreed .

The majority of the forum didn’t even understand the concept or even try to at first.
Sentoguy is not wrong in this thread. he also gives way more useful advice on this forum than most of the people who “disagreed with me”.
