But…the whole goal of pre-exhausting them is so they fail first.
You are mad because it did what it was supposed to do?
That is WHY you pre-exhaust a muscle group…so it fails first and doesn’t interfere with the TARGET muscle group.
That is why pre-exhausting chest on CHEST DAY makes little sense.
Let’s ignore the fact that you are apparently the only bodybuilder in the world who doesn’t know what pre-fatiguing is or that myriad Olympia-level bodybuilders use that technique.
Above is your response when it was explained to you. Again, you’ve failed to understand simple biomechanics. If you’re triceps fail, the lift is over. Your Pecs don’t magically assume 100% of the load the triceps normally take. Muscles work in synergy, though people seem to think that somehow each muscle group in a compound lift assumes a different portion of the lift.
If you weaken the weak link, you do nothing but cause failure sooner. Dropping weight at that point does not make your the other muscle work harder, it just makes the weak link work less than it would at a heavier weight because it’s limiting…that’s what limiting means.
This has been explained to you ad infinitum, but you are too busy explaining how none of these mythical bodybuilders you know pre-fatigue to actually acknowledge anything.

??
I would bet most of the huge guys in most gyms don’t read up on this shit…especially if they are over the age of 30.
Your comment here makes little sense.
My goal is to build muscle…not learn all of the latest jargon or give a shit about it.

Wow…and we also discussed how the goal is NOT failure and not all out training the triceps with heavy weight. The goal is fatigue.

Wow…no one said they did. What was said is they now have to pick up the slack.
From Left to right…Gregron, Infinite Shore, …
That is obviously not the case.
From left to right:
BrownDisaster
Infinite Shore (because all the other positions are filled)
Professor X (if you lost a little more bodyfat)
The Mighty Stu (because he is so wise, helpful and likable)
Gregron (the good looking in shape young looking one)
Professor X,
Do you realize that you wouldnt be like this in real life either? If a guy was starting you in the face you’d say ‘oh okay my bad haha’ or whatever. But instead you have to keep your ‘internetface’ on.
Nobody is gonna think less of you if you dont know some specific bodybuilding technique, but everyone will start looking down on you if you dont admit you were wrong about something when it’s clear.
Same way I have watched your tnation videos and thought to myself he doesnt use huge weights, his technique looks odd (like the lunge on), but I thought they have an explanation like the one ‘you hurt your elbow, knee’ etc. But when you talk like in this manner I start to think you are just a roidrager with bad technique and zero knowledge. You sound like lance armstrong without the victories.

HA! everyone is so tough online…love it
You know.
They would all be so mouthy in real life. Funny how I have lived my whole life and not run across guys like this outside of the internet.
Come to New England/Boston any time, we live on the fact that we give each other shit, regardless of how fat one is.
That must be a Texas I guess?
?? Dude we talk shit down here also. Much of it. I am talking about the way these guys act. Talking shit and complaining about how someone posts because they “read” into it due to a local popularity contest is a little girly, no?

Nice make-up. You girls have made this place so bright and cheery. I swear I want that apple crumb cake recipe when you have time.

We have guns down here also. People talk less shit…when there are consequences…which is what I meant. This is the internet. This is like flipping someone the bird while driving away at 60mph.
People talk less shit when there are real consequences. Most of society has wiped out these social consequences…and that is why most of the “internet land boyz” now act like this.
They won’t have to fight for real one day in their life…so they pop off at the mouth way more.
It isn’t making guys look stronger. This passive aggressiveness is a weakness.

You’re implying you’d shoot me with your gun if you couldn’t take me out a fist?
