Question about ab workouts while bulking

Ok check it out. Right now I’m eating a lot and lifting heavy in order to reach 210 pounds by mid october, right now I’m at 204. Now, after I reach 210, I’m gonna start doing cardio and cutting to get back around the 200-205 range. I haven’t been doing any ab workouts during this phase as I feel it’s a waste of time since I’m not ding cardio and since I’m lifting heavy. I’m going to save the ab workouts for during my cutting phase. My question is since you need to eat to gain muscle, will I be gaining muscle in my abs if I do ab workouts while bulking or is it better to just wait till I start doing cardio before I start working on my abs (did you get all that), thanks.

You need to train abs even if you can’t see them. Don’t create a weak core.

If you want strength, true strength - pour a great deal of time into your core. This will help you attain your goals. In faith, Coach Davies
