Question about 7th Week Deload

In the Forever book Jim lays out the rep scheme for the 531 part of the deload as:

70%x5 80%x3-5 90%x1, 100% ™x1

But I’m wondering what I do for the rest of the workout and how much intensity I actually go with for everything else for the deload. Right now I’m doing full body @85% which uses 5’s PRO progression scheme and a 5x5 at 85% on another compound lift on the day.

I’ll replace the 5’s PRO with the deload rep scheme easy enough, but with the 5x5 I’m not sure how much I should limit it and also with the assistance some exercises go to failure and I’m not sure if it’s ok to keep it the same for this week or drastically cut the intensity down for those as well

The point of a deload is to de-load. You do your main lift at given percentages and go home.
You need to deload intensity AND volume also. Also de-load the movements you have been grinding as assistance.

So basically I’m fine with just doing the 531 with the deload rep scheme for whatever compound I’m meant to do for 531 on that day. And abandon extra programming for whatever leader I was doing like BBB or BBS or whatever (in this case it’s full body 5x5 @85%) and then keep the assistance work but go say 60% of my usual weight?

You are ok by doing only main lift and go rest.
