Quads Shaking on Deadlift

Started happening to me recently around 95+% attempts (405 and up for me). Is this relatively normal or am I just a freak?

FREEEEAAAK

Someone with more experience will probably chime in, but it looks like you have a weakness somewhere.

Does it happen when you squat heavy with a narrower stance?

Sweet pull.

Looks like you got the weight a little too far away from you, wonder if that will change things.

Watch your feet . You can see your trying to compensate for getting on your toes. Suggestion start your lift sitting back a bit more or you can always put 2.5’s under your toes to get used to putting the weight on your heels. Thats what i see as the problem at least.

typically when i see the jimmy leg happening it means the wieght is too far out in front of the person. you need to pull the weight back into you and pull from your heels. don’t allow yourself to go up on your toes. also, as the weight passes the knees, push your hips forward. this will keep the weight close to you, limit the rom and make for a more forceful lockout. lastly, if you push out with your knees, as you would during a squat, it should keep the legs stable.

Ya looks like you’re holding the weight a little too far away from your body. When pulling the weight is too far away and so the hamstring will try to pull back to make the lift easier(by allowing a dominant muscle to take over the movement), then it becomes a game of cat and mouse between quad and hamstring trying to stabilise your body after that initial movement. I’d try sitting back more and making sure to basically scrape the shin on the way up.
Just my 2 cents

Jimmy legs lol!

Thanks guys
