The trainer has no definition in her arms. They look like mine, and everyone knows that I’ve stopped working out for several months now. I don’t understand the whole “I don’t want to look like I workout” thinking. I mean, why work out if you don’t want to look like you work out? Gweneth Paltrow does not look like she works out. She’s just skinny with no definition. I bet she couldn’t pop a muscle in her biceps if her life depended on it. I just don’t get it.
Not to rag on Gwen, but I heard her in an interview complaining that one arm is larger and more muscular than the other, turns out it was from carrying around her young child on her hip and using that arm predominately. I guess that carrying children over 3 lbs can add some dangerous bulk. I do hope she invested promptly in a nanny to carry her child, groceries and handbag.

You know what other celebrity drives me crazy? Angelina Jolie. She’s in all of these action movies as a kick ass chick, yet her upper arms are as big around as my forearm. I hate how thin equates to strong in Hollywood land.

I nominate Kim Kardashian for the “celebs that drive me crazy” list. All anyone ever talks about how hot she is and how fantastic her ass is. Sure she’s got a pretty face and a hourglass silhouette in clothes, but have you seen her in a bikini? She’s got a fat saggy ass stuck on top of two toothpick legs. I don’t understand why anyone would want to look like that.

She’s been featured in “fitness magazines” (which is a whole different topic) and is the spokesperson for those Shape-Up shoes (I’m sure we can go on about these too). It looks like she also has a workout routine so you can have a “firm and toned” booty like her.

My problem with her is not that she isn’t hot on the red carpet. Its that she looks good because she was blessed with wide hips and a tiny waist and she’s marketing fitness products. She looks good because she’s got Spanks, stylists, perfectly tailored clothes, and photoshop on her side. Not because she’s worked hard to develop a fit, muscular lower body.
Yeah, her body is sexy, but it’s mainly a genetic gift of well-distributed fat and good butt-skin.
