I can’t help a young newb by discussing bodybuilding topics openly?

You serious with this? I haven’t made people turn every thread into this crap. I started these threads to discuss what this forum is about.

Anyone coming in NOT discussing what this forum is about and making it personal is here for the wrong reasons.
I am not sure why you seem so upset? I am not attacking you and have just said that you coaching up someone would be positive, informative (meaning you would have good information to give someone) and interesting. I do not see how you are taking that as an attack of sorts?
I didn’t say you attacked me.

I find your actions questionable because you did NOT ask someone like Colucci to train someone.

Why ask me when I spent years here doing nothing but giving advice on weight lifting since this forum started?

The only reason that can’t happen now is because every thread turns into this.
If Colucci were posting in this forum I would probably suggest it to him as well BUT Chris posts a TON in the beginner forums and nutrition forums. He shells out tons of very specific advice and guidelines. Some might argue that he actually IS training several people with his recommendations but I digress.

I just thought that you coaching up a kid here would be cool, that is all. You have said repeatedly that you want these forums to go back to being about informative helpful discussions and I thought what better way than to take the initiative and start a thread that you know will not turn into an S Storm because it is not about arguing or “debating” a topic but rather its sole purpose is helping out a fellow trainee who could use the guidance of an older experienced lifter.

As has been noted several times, the transformation coaching threads are not S Storms and are full of positive helpful posts which is what, IMO, this forum should be about. Like I said though, if you do not want to do that then that is your choice. I just think it would be a really good thing.

I spent years showing my progress and helping people with their own. For anyone to act like that didn’t happen is flat out bullshit.

I am here to discuss bodybuilding and getting swole and lean, not for all of you to keep this up like you have any control at all over who I am as a person or what I am passionate about.

let it rest so people can get something positive from this forum instead of the same old crap.

real talk, I built more muscles than most of you here so this shit has gotten old and tired.

People are here to learn, not watch you bitch about me for several [pages.

grow some nuts and keep this shit rolling in a positive direction.
Motherfucking PREACH!!

Its like they don’t see that the only thing going on is information being held back.

I got big. I lost weight.

Not sure what they are arguing because my “ego” shouldn’t even be an issue.

x2
Colucci has helped more noobs than damn near anyone on this site and has caused exactly zero shit storms.
Smashingweights wrote:

I agree with IronMan. You would be crazy at 12%
I think he mentioned 12% because 10-12% seems to be generally accepted as impressively lean without getting into the relm of contest conditioning where muscle loss would become a potential issue. I am not him so I cannot answer for him but that is my interpretation of why he specifically mentioned 12%
I think I got about there here.

It has been said many times over. A lot of knowledgeable people on this site don’t want to have “discussions” with you because it always ends up in a shit storm. That’s why your ego and your attitude are an issue. YOU are limiting informative discussions.

Worse than that, they are literally trying to rewrite history here all of a sudden when I doubt many here have posted as many progress pics as I have over the years.

This pic here is taken about 3 weeks after the “fat pic”.[photo]38707[/photo]

Question…if I can lose fat that fast, why worry that much about it?

The rest of the pics I posted after that were all taken in the same spot at the gym like this one…[photo]38708[/photo]
which was taken about the time I went to CO.

Apparently my muscles are all fake now and only the result of trick lighting.

Damn X, if you were to get to even 12% bf…you’d be scary huge.
Also…why 12%?
The guy is giving you a fuckin compliment and youre going to be a prick to him too. Good grief

In that case, I decline your request. Youre welcome

I don’t see CC posting here at all, but you brought him up for some reason.

You must be gay. I’m saying this as a professional…it’s by far the most likely explanation so I’m not sure why you’re going to get mad over this

Why would I be mad because you came into a thread to discuss sexuality?

Do you see homosexuality as something to be mad about?

From [photo]34604[/photo]
to

[photo]38707[/photo]

in three weeks.

Question, if fat loss can be seen that fast, why would I worry about being heavier for a while if it can help me maintain more muscle in the long run?

If fat loss can be that quick, why would you not get leaner? I mean if its so easy and painless, why the hell not?
cally wrote:

Because I was working on gaining more muscular size which takes longer and takes more effort.

Ok, is there a weight at which you decide “ok I’ve reached where I want to be in terms of muscularity, now its time to really polish it and bring out the seperation of the muscle groups”?
