I’m looking for a bit of advice about my evening nutrition, as I’m only able to workout at about 6.30-7.15pm during the week. In order to get my 8 hours sleep in before work, I have to go to bed at about 10.30pm, so I’m wary of eating too much in the evening due to it all piling up before bed. Currently, it’s a bit like this:
6.30-7.15: Train, then protein shake, banana and some 200 cals ish of carbs.
8.30: Prawns with salad, then some porridge oats.
10.30: Cottage cheese.
Does this look OK to you? Or would I be better off having something a bit less ‘bulky’ at 8.30? Was thinking about some kind of omelette, but there’s no carbs there, and eggs don’t carry as much protein for the calories than a meat source like prawns or chicken does?
